Apple updates its smallest MacBook Air for 2012 with a speedier CPU and USB 3.0 ports, while retaining the design elements that make it an outstanding ultraportable. It faces more competition these days (from Windows ultrabooks), but it's still the best 11-inch laptop you can buy.
Pros:
- Speedy Intel "Ivy Bridge" processor
- solid-state storage
- and USB 3.0 ports
- Familiar sleek and sturdy design
- Excellent keyboard for such a small and slim laptop
Cons:
- Not any thinner or lighter than last year's model
- Battery life a bit less than last year's model

- speed is just ridiculously fast
- great internet connection
- looks fantastic
Cons:
- Nothing that I can think of

Apple MacBook Air 11in 2012
– even though, strictly speaking, it isn't actually an Ultrabook, according to Intel's proprietary definition of the term. This 2012 model doesn't tamper with the winning formula, but it does provide a respectable update that should keep it at the head of the pack.

Apple MacBook Air 11in (2012) review
As one of the thinnest laptops ever produced, the original MacBook Air was a revelation. The competition may have heated up with the launch of Intel's Ultrabook programme, but 11in models are still thin on the ground with only the Asus ZenBook UX21 in direct competition.

Macbook Air 11″ (July 2011) Review
Macbook gets an average life to around 5 hours with screen brightness set to medium and laptop brightness turned off. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, it comes with a backlit keyboard! This is great for anybody who is on the go and is often in dark rooms or just when there is no light.

Amazing little machine
I purchased this laptop for personal use (I got a 13" at the same time for work use) and I can say that both laptops are amazing. The 13" is a little easier to work with for larger documents, the 11" is better for travel since it is smaller (a easier on the wallet).
Pros:
- Size
- battery life and Snow Leopard OS
Cons:
- The screen size can be an issue with some documents
