Very impressive for filmmakers!
After a few weeks of research I was deciding between this 700d and the 1300d. The 1300D is a very attractive camera for only £310 but after reading many reviews and more importantly, watching many comparison videos on YouTube, I opted for the slightly more expensive 700D and I'm glad I did, it's a...

"Which Mid Range DSLR you should go for Canon EOS 700D or Nikon D5300 " Read this before buying : " Pros and Cons "
With a great value for money, both the EOS 700D from Canon and Nikon's D5300 are tied on several aspects, leaving buyers confused as to which one pick up. Recently, I had an opportunity to have a hands-on experience with the Canon EOS 700D. I have also been using a Nikon D5300 for a few months now.

Great, easy to use semi professional camera
Bought this for myself, for Christmas. I am a fan of canon and have owned several, my last canon is 350d and I still use it. But what a leap in quality and technology , the 700d is perfect for beginner and intermediaries, the 18 megapixel makes sharp and crisp pics.

Perfect for beginners.
I've wanted to step up to a dslr for sometime now and I'm glad I did and I'm glad I went for the Canon, the picture's are fantastic so clear and crisp. As for the camara the build is strong and it doesn't feel cheap and is very easy to get to grips with.

Super-powered camera
An excellent camera that blends great image quality with ease of use. Even a relative novice would find it easy to use. It didn't take long to charge or setup either. Top marks.

Professional in Training
If you are starting out to be a professional or learn about photography the "Rebel" is the perfect camera to start out with. Then years later, upgrade to the "Mark" series. I'm not going to lecture you of why. It's just like the same reasons you don't marry the first person you like or kiss.

When I bought this camera I did not understand what is so great about this camera When I bought 50 mm F 1.8 the camera was used much much much better. The kit lens is not good in my perspective, And prime lenses are usually much better! Glass is the most important thing!
