Canon EOS 750D - Locked and Loaded

If I could use one word to describe Canon, it would be consistent. While the camera manufacturer kick started the DSLR video revolution with the original EOS 5D and decked out its EOS 5DsR and 5Ds with massive 50MP sensors, every Canon DSLR and lens I've used has immediately felt familiar.
Pros:
  • Great picture quality
  • Fast auto-focus
  • Compatible with Canon's huge lens family
Cons:
  • Feels a little big when compared to micro-four-thirds cameras
  • Kit lens has an awkward focus ring
  • Photos could use more dynamic range

If you're looking for an entry-level DSLR, and want one of the latest models packed with up-to-date technology, then the Canon 750D is a very worthy option. The new sensor is the second largest in Canon's entire line-up, outsizing even the highly-prized 5D MkIII, and it delivers fantastic image...

Review: Canon EOS 750D

Five years ago you were Charlie Big Potato, strutting around town with a haughty air of superiority in your 'I've got more megapixels' than you T-shirt. But now? Now you're yesterday's news.

Canon EOS 750D review: Revered mid-ranger

Canon is testing the water with its latest DSLR cameras. The EOS 750D, which updates the earlier 700D mid-ranger from 2013, is also joined by the ever-so-slightly higher specification 760D, giving more choice to customers. Or just adding more confusion. So what's the deal?
Pros:
  • Great performance from autofocus system
  • tilt-angle screen delivers live view setup better than many DSLR competitors
  • excellent all-round image quality
Cons:
  • The 760D and older 70D seem to make the 750D harder to justify
  • no 4K features like Panasonic Lumix G7
  • viewfinder 95 per cent field-of-view

Canon EOS 750D

The Canon EOS 750D is a neatly crafted DSLR in the entry segment that's made for the budding photographer buying his/her very first DSLR. While the dynamic range in photographs is compromised, its brilliant viewfinder, ease of usage, and overall competence make up for the 750D's limitation.

Canon EOS Rebel T6i 24.2 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera with Lens - 18

This camera with 24.2 Mps is what I have been waiting for. Know how in American folklore blondes have great looks outside, but not many brains inside? This Canon tore that to pieces. A great feeling body outside and brains inside as well. Loved my T3i, but left her for the sister T6i

Canon EOS Rebel T6i

While the latest entry in Canon's midrange consumer dSLR lineup doesn't inspire much excitement, that's not really the point of the EOS Rebel T6i (aka the 750D everywhere but the US).
Pros:
  • The T6i performs much better than the models that preceded it and the design remains streamlined and functional
Cons:
  • Image quality and autofocus don't fare as well as they should in very low light

Brilliant

The 750d sits right next to the 70D as it uses much of the same hardware. You won't be disappointed as the camera is very capable and stacks up well against more expensive dslrs.
Pros:
  • Everything because canon quality
  • As I have used canon cameras for many years because they're the most reliable and you have a lot more choice when it comes to lenses
  • Also there's a built in canon lens data base so you can get the best from your shot as the camera corrects the lens.
Cons:
  • There's nothing to dislike.
