Rather than simply increasing the available sensitivity range - which often just results in nosier images - the technology...

I purchased one of these little numbers to replace a Panasonic TZ-6 which I considered very overrated, and is intended to compliment my DSLR. I was immediately impressed by the small size, and classy looks. I have owned Canon IXUS compacts before, so I found operating the camera very intuitive.

Fantastic Camera
I bought this after returning a Nikon which took poor pictures. The picture quality is very good and is very easy to use. Build quality is up to usual Canon standards. It captures moving objects like pets really well and the clever auto mode chooses all the settings and gets it right.
