Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS
Canon has always impressed us with its ability to produce very good quality cameras at the low end of the price spectrum. Even their very cheapest cameras are usually better than the competition at the same price point, and as such they usually get pretty high marks from us at Imaging-Resource.com .
Pros:
- Small and smooth design makes it very pocketable
- Multiple colors available
- Plenty of optional modes if you want them
- 4x wide-angle zoom with optical image stabilization
- Smart Auto makes Scene settings choices for you
- Good 3-inch LCD
- Well-placed controls
- Full HD video
- Dedicated movie record
Cons:
- Buttons may be too small for those with large hands
- Color shift in yellows makes some colors seem muted
- Some noticeable chromatic aberration at wide-angle
- Slightly lower-than-average battery life
- High-speed burst wasn't quite as fast as advertised in our tests
- Plastic center piece feels

Easy to use, high quality photos.
I've had this camera for just over a month and I love all the functions and fun settings for taking photos. From photos of my busy 3-year-old to the full moon, this camera is awesome. I'm having so much fun with this camera!

Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS
With so many cameras announced last year, I sort of overlooked reviewing the Canon PowerShot Elph 100 HS. And that's kind of a shame. When it was released in the first half of 2011, it was Canon's least expensive camera with a backside-illuminated CMOS sensor , which gives better low-light photos...
Pros:
- The Canon PowerShot Elph 100 HS is a very good value
- offering good photo and video quality outside and indoors
- lots of fun shooting modes
- and decent shooting performance for its class
Cons:
- The 100 HS' photos look soft
- even at lower ISOs
- and its autofocus is regularly inaccurate

Great little camera
Bought this a few weeks back and couldn't be happier. Very simple to use in the basic settings, but you can tweak it for more complex settings if you wish. Zoom, movies, screen clarity, colour balance, pic sharpness, ease of use all top notch.

Great camera!
It's easy, stick with Cannon and you won't be let down. This camera is just as awesome as the last Cannon my wife and I used heavily for the past 6...
Pros:
- Most everything- it's a Cannon

Gave this camera to my 15-year old for Christmas. She LOVES it. Great pictures and awesome video. Just don't forget to buy a memory card when you buy the camera.
