The Canon ELPH 110 HS, known outside North America as the IXUS 125 HS, is a 16.1 Megapixel compact with a 3in screen and a 5x zoom lens. Announced in January 2012 it will likely replace the ELPH 100 HS / IXUS 115 HS.

Point & Shoot at Dslr Levels !

Last Year October was the month that I bought this awesome camera with a lot of research. Initially I thought of going with a basic Dslr but my budget was out of my thoughts. So I decided for best point & shoot camera. Only two brands were in my mind one Canon & other was Nikon.

Canon IXUS 125 HS

It's a shame that cameras like the Canon IXUS 125 HS are losing to smartphones. It's understandable, but disappointing, nonetheless, because it's faster and takes better photos and full HD video. Even its creative effects are better quality than much of what you'd get from various mobile apps.

  • Small and lightweight
  • Bright
  • ultra-wide-angle lens
  • Lots of fun shooting options
  • Can produce some very nice photos and movie clips
Cons:
  • Relatively short battery life
  • Mixed shooting performance
