Goondu review: Canon Powershot G9X Mark II
With smartphones becoming the camera of choice for everyday photos, it's hard not to wonder what will happen to compact shooters that were once the versatile tools for so many things.

Standard point-and-shoot cameras have largely been replaced by today's smartphones, but camera companies have adapted to changing times by making their products more advanced to find new ways for them to be relevant.
Pros:
- Compact and well built
- Good wireless sharing integration
- Decent ISO performance
- Touchscreen works well
Cons:
- Average battery life

Can't Get Photos
The camera is small and takes great photos, which does absolutely no good unless they can be transferred to a computer or phone! The wifi function is glitchy. Called Canon. They had me download another software patch that is so complicated I can't get it to work.

- Responsive touch screen
- Good image quality
- RAW shooting and in-camera conversion
- Speedy continuous shooting
- Easy image transfer to mobile devices
Cons:
- No viewfinder
- Modest battery life
