Funky Port.
Pros:

Cons:
- Sub native resolution in handheld mode

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Switch)
Tropical Freeze is a pinnacle of modern 2D platform games, offering an immense challenge while improving on the original, much revered original trilogy. Funky Kong's inclusion is clearly well-intentioned.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Switch review – any port in a storm
A highly competent 2D platformer, but one so utterly devoid of any new ideas it's really only for the nostalgic and those desperate to play something new(-ish) on the Switch.
Pros:
- Extremely well-designed levels and some masterfully orchestrated mine cart stages
- Good use of a 3D camera to enhance 2D gameplay
- Great music
Cons:
- Painfully predictable from the very first moment
- Visually unremarkable and with some very dull secrets and special abilities
- Unfairly expensive

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (for Nintendo Switch)
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is another excellent Wii U game that has found an even better home on the Nintendo Switch.
Pros:
- Creative, varied level design
- Looks great
- Funky Kong mode makes the game more forgiving for less skilled players
Cons:
- Adds very little besides Funky Kong
