If you have a limited budget, perhaps look towards older models in the line-up.
Pros:
  • Beautiful design
  • Tilting touch-sensitive screen
  • Sharp lens
Cons:
  • Fixed lens not hugely flexible
  • High asking price

Fujifilm FinePix X100V Digital Camera Silver - Brand New review

The Fujifilm X100V retails for $1400 and is available in an all black or black and silver option. At this price, the X100V is a tough sell when compared to the new X-S10. The IBIS enabled X-S10 is similar in size, can be purchased for $1000 (body only), and can be paired with a focal length of your...

Fujifilm's X100V Is the New Standard for Street Photographers

Improvements to the beloved series make this one of the best street-friendly compact cameras.
Pros:
  • New lens has faster autofocus. It's sharper across the frame, even close up. The hybrid viewfinder is best in class, and the articulating screen allows for more shooting angles. Those Fujifilm JPEGs.
Cons:
  • Separate charger no longer included (charges by USB-C). Not weather-resistant out of the box. Touchscreen isn't that useful at this small size.

Fujifilm X100V review

The perfect compact camera for the smartphone age, the X100V is a great street photography sidekick that takes the series to new heights. Its tilting screen brings some welcome versatility, while the new sensor, autofocus system and viewfinder make it a fun, engaging travel camera. The fixed focal length won't be for everyone and it's relatively pricey, but the X100V is the best premium compact you can buy.
Pros:
  • Useful new tilting touchscreen
  • Improved sensor and autofocus
  • Higher-resolution EVF than before
  • Lens produces good sharpness
  • Now shoots 4K video
Cons:
  • Needs filter for full weather-sealing
  • Pricey for a fixed lens camera

Fujifilm X100V Review

The Fujifilm X100V is the camera to get if you like the idea of a Leica rangefinder, but also want modern amenities like autofocus and video. The Fujifilm X100V ($1,399.95) is the fifth iteration of the company's chic, retro-styled compact camera. As with earlier entries, it includes a hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder, an SLR-sized image sensor, and a wide aperture prime lens. This version offers a few welcome upgrades, including new optics, a better viewfinder, weather protection, and a tilting LCD. That makes it an overall better camera than the X100F, and one that is certain to compel owners of older models to upgrade. It also makes the X100V a PCMag Editors' Choice.A Familiar Design, Improved The X100 series has evolved from a handling perspective over the years, but its basic look and feel are unchanged. You can get it in your choice of all black or a two-tone black and silver look. The viewfinder sits in the corner, offering your choice of an optical or through-the-lens electronic view, and the lens is a fixed prime with a moderately wide angle of view. The image sensor is as large as you'll find in Fujifilm...
Pros:
  • Improved lens
  • Dust and splash protection
  • Tilting LCD
  • Hybrid optical-electronic viewfinder
  • Dial-driven control
  • In-camera film looks and Raw processing
  • 11fps bursts
  • 4K video
  • Retro looks in black or silver
Cons:
  • Omits optical and in-body stabilization
  • Lens filter required for weather protection
  • Limited to UHS-I transfer speeds
  • Autofocus not always immediate
