With top and bottom plates milled from single pieces of aluminium, the X100V is a tougher camera than 2017’s previous model, the X100F. And the new sensor and processor combination combine to make the X100V a more capable and better performing camera than its predecessor.

The X100V is an engaging, well-built camera that produces beautiful images, has best-in-class video, excellent autofocus and optional weather-sealing. Meaningful updates like a tilting touchscreen, updated viewfinder and redesigned lens have us largely looking past its imperfections.
Pros:
- Street and documentary photography and videography, environmental portraiture, social snapshots, travel.
Cons:
- Vlogging, sports and action where longer focal lengths are required, high-res landscape photography.

Fujifilm X100V review: The most capable prime-lens compact camera, ever
The X100V is an engaging, well-built camera that produces beautiful images, has best-in-class video, excellent autofocus and optional weather-sealing. Meaningful updates like a tilting touchscreen, updated viewfinder and redesigned lens have us largely looking past its imperfections. Assuming you like the 35mm-equivalent focal length, it makes a strong case as a photographer's carry-everywhere compact that's good for all kinds of photography.

Fujifilm X100V review: The fixed-lens champion
You might need to be as rich as a king to buy one, but then the X100V is indeed king of the fixed-lens compacts. Close-up shooting at wide-open aperture settings is still a problem, but the addition of a bracket-mounted touchscreen show that Fuji is evolving this series for the better.
Pros:
- Adds useful tilt-angle bracket for screen
- Unique hybrid viewfinder is amazing
- Great lens and image quality
- It's a camera like no other - in looks and operation
Cons:
- Lens isn't silent
- Close-up focus still has sharpness limitations
- It's rather expensive
- Should be weather-sealed out of the box (rather than optional kit)

In short, this is the perfect carry-anywhere camera if you don’t mind stumping up the premium price. Still, it is much more affordable than the nearest equivalent Leica it resembles.
Pros:
- All-in-one solution for the street and travel photographer who likes to shoot surreptitiously from the hip, Fits snugly into a jacket pocket, Fast/bright lens with good resolving power
Cons:
- Cannot alter the fixed lens provided, Limited articulation of the LCD screen means it cannot be flipped out to face the subject in selfie fashion, Pricey given said limitations

Fujifilm FinePix X100V Digital Camera Silver - Brand New review
The Fujifilm X100V is good for travel photography. While it's pretty big for a point-and-shoot, its compact fixed-lens design is still much smaller than most interchangeable-lens cameras and makes it easy to travel with.
Pros:
- Compact design., Impressive build quality., Excellent image quality.
Cons:
- Ergonomics are somewhat lacking., Somewhat short battery life.
