Handles nicely, but its big
This has the feel of a professional level lens. Its well put together, everything falls to hand nicely and the image quality is excellent. It is, however, quite large - in fact bigger and heavier than Canons 70-200 f4, for which this is close comparator in terms of what it does.
Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Lens - Brand New review
The Fujinon XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR is a great addition to Fujifilm's lens lineup. It is ultra-sharp in the image center. The borders are outstanding at 50mm and still more than just decent at longer focal lengths.
This all-purpose Fujifilm zoom has a 35mm equivalent of 76-213mm, and features excellent build quality. Weighing in at a relatively compact 995g, it's among the smallest in test.
Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Lens - Brand New review
It's hard not to want the Fujinon XF50-140mm F/2.8 in your camera bag once you get a hold of it. It not only has great handling with its relatively compact size and fairly light-weight, but also produces super sharp and exceptionally clear images with beautiful colors and very minimal issues like...
Excellent lens, replacing my FF now.
This lens, as many have already noted is excellent. I stumbled across fuji about a year ago, when i got the xt10 for a trip. It came with the 18-55 zoom. I have a FF setup, pentax k1 with a number of primes and zooms including the Tamron 70-200 2.8.
Very Versatile Range
Excellent versatile range, the collar is a bit flimsy and moves and slips and seems to need constant tightening But a good all round lens, with great weather sealing- Durable
- Great Features
- Great Picture Quality
Super happy with this lens and 6th Ave was quick to ship as always
Fujifilm Fujinon XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR Review
The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR is a pro-grade telezoom lens for mirrorless cameras with excellent optics and a tough, weather-resistant build. The 70-200mm full-frame zoom has long been the go-to choice for event photographers and serious enthusiasts. Fuji's mirrorless system is built around the APS-C sensor size, so its Fujinon XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR ($1,599.95) is the equivalent. It's a strong performer, delivering crisp images throughout its zoom range and a solid, weather-resistant build that will pair perfectly with an X-T2 or X-Pro2. Exceptional performance merits our Editors' Choice award, but keep in mind that the lens is priced accordingly. If you can live with a narrower aperture and don't need protection from weather, the Fujinon XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS is a fine budget-minded alternative. Design The XF 50-140mm ($1,599.00 at Amazon) is certainly smaller than its counterparts in the full-frame SLR world. It measures 6.9 by 3.3 inches (HD) and weighs 2.2 pounds. Compare that with Canon's beefy EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM ($2,199.00 at Amazon) —it tips the scales at 3.3 pounds and measures 7.8 by 3.5 i...- Sharp optics
- Constant f/2.8 aperture
- Image stabilization system
- Rugged design
- Teleconverter compatibility
- Includes removable tripod foot and hood
- Relatively compact
- Pricey
- Edge quality suffers when zoomed
