A great phone for average user!
If you are not a heavy user, this phone is for you...don't get misled by the specs, particularly 600MHz processor. It has the latest architecture..and thus can outperform quiet a few other processors 'clocked' higher than this belonging to older generations. 512Mb RAM handles it all.

Very Good :)
I bought this phone as a first time smartphone owner around Christmas 2012 and so far have been very impressed. The phone is sometimes a bit slow but I can live with that. The only problem I have is that when using the alarm you must keep the phone on otherwise it will not work.

HTC Desire C
Mid-range handsets running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich are still quite a rarity. Most manufacturers settle on releasing devices that only have Android 2.3 Gingerbread pre-installed, or worse, some other version of the Android software that's even older, like Froyo or Eclair. But not HTC.

HTC Desire C: a decent little budget Android
The HTC Desire C is an odd creature. Its looks are reminiscent of the higher-end devices in HTC's smartphone alphabet, and it runs the same version of Android that comes pre-installed on flagship phones like its big brother, the One X, and Samsung's Galaxy S III.

HTC Desire C review
HTC seems to be launching new smartphones every other week at the moment and the Desire C is its cheapest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich model so far.

HTC Desire C
Looks like famous manufacturer HTC grew fed up with manufacturing cheap smartphones for people who have never owned such a product before. The Taiwanese company recently announced their $200 Desire C device which can very well be be the last of the company's very affordable species.

HTC Desire C expert review
The HTC desire C has impressed everyone that we've shown the handset to. The small form factor is a bonus and in a world of giant screens with big price tags in tow and it's good to see options available for customers who want something truly pocket-sized.
Pros:
- Great value for money for Pay As You Go customers
- Strong range of features and HTC Sense performs well
- Screen looks good for the price

HTC Desire C
The HTC Desire C sits at the bottom of the company's range of Android handsets. It's difficult to ignore the choice of name for this particular phone, picking up on the heritage of the Desire family.
Pros:
- Good sized 3.5-inch display but in small package
- latest software
- great design and build
Cons:
- Camera lacks autofocus
- battery life is poor
- looks a little pricey compared to other budget models
- Beats turning on and off suggests a software bug
