excellent !

this was my first android phone and I'm VERY happy with it. the online capabilities can compete with your home pc. it does nearly anything. the reason I've had this phone twice now is that it is up to date and current.

Smartphones are a commodity everyone needs now; just having a feature phone isn't enough. And new technologies being implemented in high-end headsets, which then filters down to lower-end models, it only makes sense to stay connected all the time.

Review: HTC Desire C

The 3.5" LCD screen has pixel dimensions of 320x480. The display is reasonably bright, but its sharpness could have been better. On the flip side, the panel's viewing angles are narrow, and its sunlight legibility is nothing worth writing home about.
Pros:
  • Sturdy build
  • Impressive sound quality
Cons:
  • Sluggish performance
  • Terrible camera
  • Mediocre video player

HTC Desire C Review

The Desire C is HTC's latest budget Android smartphone, and is a handset aimed at smartphone newbies and those on a budget. The pint-sized handset sure does look good, but can it carry on the repuation left by the original HTC Desire?
Pros:
  • Nice design
  • runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • good battery life
Cons:
  • 600MHz processor can be painfully slow
  • poor camera

HTC Desire C

HTC currently makes some of the most desirable-looking handsets around, notably all three smartphones in its One range - the HTC One X , HTC One S and HTC One V are all stunners.

HTC Desire C Android phone

The HTC Desire C is a competitively priced pre-paid smartphone that offers a few features we aren't used to seeing on low-end Android devices. We like its design, build quality and the decent battery life it offers, but the sluggish user experience will frustrate most buyers. Once upon a time, the Desire was the king of HTC's smartphones. The One series has taken that mantle in 2012, so the Desire is now reduced to propping up the bottom of HTC's smartphone lineup. The HTC Desire C retails for $229 but features the Beats Audio sound profile, comes with integrated 25GB Dropbox storage and has a 5-megapixel camera. It's a great looking device but an ultimately frustrating phone to use due to a sluggish user experience.
Pros:
  • Good design and build
  • Relatively low price
  • Decent battery life
Cons:
  • Can be sluggish at times
  • Abysmal camera
  • Limited internal memory

HTC Desire C Review

If we look at the 10-15K price bracket, HTC has no product offering worth considering right now. As far as Android handsets go, Sony's Live with Walkman is still the best offering here followed closely by the much older, but still relevant Samsung Galaxy Ace .

HTC Desire C

The HTC Desire C sits at the bottom of the company's range of Android handsets. It's difficult to ignore the choice of name for this particular phone, picking up on the heritage of the Desire family.
Pros:
  • Good sized 3.5-inch display but in small package
  • latest software
  • great design and build
Cons:
  • Camera lacks autofocus
  • battery life is poor
  • looks a little pricey compared to other budget models
  • Beats turning on and off suggests a software bug
