HTC One V

The Phone is too slow. You have to wait for too many seconds for applications to get started. There is a huge lag on games like Temple doom and Ninjump. Camara is good. Oddly gets hot on using maps and camara.

Not bad but could be better

This is a smart looking compact phone at a reasonable price. However there are some issues with the design. 1) I added a 32GB SD card to increase storage on the phone. It constantly coming loose.

Sluggish phone ever, Don't expect performance

The worst experience I ever had after buying HTC one V was that It went totally dead in first month without any reason. The phone won't get charge or not show any sign of charging or switch ON.After contacting the customer care they have taken more than a month to detect its flaws and told me that...

I like it but what really put me off is the annoying static noises when any sound is played through the headphones on this phone. it diminishes audio quality when you use noise-cancellation headphones on a low-volume setting. I wonder if others faced this problem or is mine a faulty product.
Pros:
  • Decent Camera
  • htc sense
  • ICS
  • great build quality
Cons:
  • Sluggish on 3d graphics
  • laggy browser
  • static noises while listening to audio through earphones

The HTC One V is a very capable phone indeed, crammed with all features a smartphone owner could want. Its 1GHz processor means it isn't quite the standout device it could be but for a budget device the HTC One V does itself proud.
Pros:
  • Like a lot of HTC smartphones the One V feels like a top quality bit if kit
  • Its unibody design feels solid, reassuring and as if it would be resilient enough in the long term
  • The ridged design feature that runs along the edge delivers a nice grip unlike some polycarbonate phones.
Cons:
  • With dual-core and quad-core phones (such as the HTC One X) hitting the shops, or about to, the HTC One V's single core 1GHz processor is already beginning to feel dated
  • Sure, it's quick enough, but not as quick as it could be in comparison to some of the phones we'll soon be lusting after such as...

Nokia Lumia 610 – The Nokia Lumia 610 is the most affordable smartphone you'll find running the Windows Phone 7.5 OS . It also includes a 5MP with HD video recording, similar to the HTC One V, and is powered by a single-core 800 MHz processor.
Pros:
  • Striking design
  • Vivid display
  • Android 4.0
Cons:
  • Single-core processor
  • Non-removable battery

HTC One V reviewed: the "V" means "Very good battery"

The fourth phone from HTC to sit under the new "One" branding , the HTC One V takes on a look similar to the older Legend handset we saw a few years and gives it some much needed upgrades an bringing the operating system up to scratch.
Pros:
  • Great build and feel
  • Amazing battery life
Cons:
  • Lacking performance
  • When the charge cable is plugged in
  • the touchscreen becomes useless
  • making the alarms rather hard to use
  • Web download speed could be better

HTC One V (U.S. Cellular)

The HTC One V ($129.99) is a good midrange smartphone right now. It would've been a great phone last year. But as more 4G phones come to U.S. Cellular, it's going to feel old quickly. Don't get me wrong-it's still perfectly fine, with a lovely display and Android 4.0.
Pros:
  • Nice display
  • Runs Android and Sense 4.0
  • Comfortable size
Cons:
  • No 4G
  • Midrange hardware
  • No front camera
  • Chin design isn't for everyone
