HTC One V

The HTC one V is an impressive package for its price. For AU$30 a month on Optus, you can choose between the One V, the Motorola Defy Mini or the Motorola Razr V for an extra AU$5 a month. If it were up to us, we'd choose the One V.
Pros:
  • Fantastic Super LCD screen
  • Solid battery life
  • HTC Sense UI
  • That great HTC "chin" design
Cons:
  • Could use more processing grunt
  • Camera has great features
  • but final photos could be better

HTC One V is a great mid range smartphone. It is available in the market for around Rs17,000. The phone has a great build quality and comes with Andorid 4.0 ICS and HTC Sense UI 4.0 which surely gives it an upper hand over other smartphones in the same price range.
Pros:
  • Good Build Quality
  • Android 4.0 ICS
  • Expandable Memory
  • Good Battery Life
  • Reasonable Price
Cons:
  • No Dedicated Camera Key
  • Missing Front Camera

Virgin Mobile HTC One V review: Nice phone, good price, no commitment

Virgin Mobile 's new HTC One V Android 4 phone has a similar name to its cousin, the HTC EVO V , but it's a different phone with a lower price point. It may be lacking a few of the EVO V's frills, but it still has a lot going for it.

It is a very good entry level phone. If you think you want a phone that is worth boasting, sure, get the HTC one s or One X. The 1GHZ processor performs very well and I am very impressed.

A budget smartphone with looks and design that belies its status. In recent months we've watched HTC launch the high-end members of its One family of smartphones, and now it is the turn of the budget handset.

Well, this is a surprise.

My main reason for choosing this phone was the price. It replaced a Samsung Galaxy S, and I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I wrong. It's nice to have a slightly smaller phone again. The 3.7" screen is crisp and the colours are fantastic.

HTC One V review

The One V is the third and final piece of HTC's game plan: a stylish, petite, entry-level model that will hopefully draw in anyone looking for a new phone running Android's latest. Indeed, it's a capable phone on par with several once high-end single-core devices from last year.
Pros:
  • Superb build quality
  • Android 4.0 on an entry-level phone
  • Boots quickly
Cons:
  • Last year's specifications
  • Misses out on some One series features
  • Processor is overwhelmed by apps and internet browsing
