Huawei Nova 5T Purple 1102700037 review
The Nova 5T is a must-consider in your list of mid-range smartphones, we say ignore the Google Issue as the Nova 5T is surely in the list of Huawei surely to get updates in the future.
Pros:
- Kirin 980 Processor – No jokes about the processor, fitting the 5T with a flagship processor is ridiculously crazy but makes everyone especially techies love the Nova 5T
- Dual Glass + Metal Body – Sorry OPPO, Vivo, Samsung, only Huawei was able to be the metal body smartphone at this price point.
Cons:
- No Gorilla Glass – Huawei didn’t disclose the glass they are using for the 5T, upon check checking its not Corning Gorilla Glass
- IPS Display – Visual wise, the IPS panel is simply no match with an AMOLED display.

The Huawei Nova 5T is a superb smartphone camera for the price. Huawei's AI and computational photography lead the market. Its smartphone cameras claim most of the top 10 spots on DxOMark's mobile image quality rankings.

Unlike a number of other HuaweiSmartPhones this arrived with little fanfare. It is that little bit smaller than some and for a lot of people this may seem a good feature, so what exactly has this latest offering to offer the user.

Huawei Nova 5T review: Mid-range device, flagship level performance!
So, overall, I really liked the Nova 5T. The design is good, the cameras are good, and the phone is, well, really fast. The only thing I wished this phone had is an OLED display because it's the closest competitor, the K20 Pro and Vivo V17 pro have OLED displays.

The Huawei Nova 5T is a powerful smartphone with a lot of storage and a very elegant case. The fact that the camera is surpassed by the current elite of the cameras can be tolerated, considering the suggested retail price of 429 Euros (~$478).

- large storage
- camera with wide-angle and macro lens
- good navigation capabilities
- good battery life
Cons:
- storage cannot be expanded
- USB connection only supports 2.0 standard

The Huawei Nova 5T is a mid-range smartphone featuring a quad rear camera with a 48-megapixel main optic, super wide-angle camera, macro camera and depth assist camera. There's a 32-megapixel hole-punch camera on the front, built into the 6.26-inch screen.

Huawei Nova 5T review: Another mid-range marvel
If the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro wasn't on the scene, I'd be singing the praises of the Nova 5T from the rooftops. The difference between the two phones is subtle, but in our tests, the Huawei was always slightly behind in almost every area.

- No notch (but a lens hole in the screen

Huawei Nova 5T review: old wine in a new bottle
Under the new name, Nova 5T , Huawei once again markets the Honor 20 , which we have already reviewed. Now a hundred bucks cheaper, the device has what it takes to become an inexpensive high-end recommendation.
