I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review. And oh boy, am I happy to have been asked to do it. I've been buying smartwatches since they started popping up on the market, and it always feels the same, great excitement up to the purchase, you open the box,...
The Huawei Watch GT 2 is a great fitness and health companion, offering a wide variety of tracking options and summaries thereof. From your fitness to your sleep and stress levels, the GT 2 has your covered.
Two-week battery life; VO2Max sensor; GPS-enabled tracking; All about the fitness
No 3rd-party apps; Missing smartwatch features
Stylish. Battery life is fantastic. 10 days for me and I'm an active user. I swim 3 times a week & gym 3 times a week. Screen is superb. I have had it for nearly 2 weeks now and honestly can't think of any "issues".
The Huawei Watch GT 2 is similar to the original Watch GT, but has slightly better looks, plus an integrated speaker and mic for calls. This doesn’t change the fact that the GT series is low on smarts, although those skills have improved, and it still has that class-leading battery life.
Sharp display; Very long battery life; Good fitness tracking
“The Huawei Watch GT2's classy vibe gives it an upmarket feel, but sluggish software may frustrate.”
Classy design; Attractive screen; Two body sizes; Lightweight and comfortable; Internal storage for music
Software is slow; Notifications aren't always helpful
The Huawei Watch GT 2 has entered the scene with some fancy new hardware, but will that be enough?...
Great battery life Looks gorgeous Sharp AMOLED display Much improved performance over last year Affordable
Limited third-party app support with Huawei Health Large footprint on wrist No Qi charging No NFC outside of China Limited software functionality Erratic heart rate sensor
The second version of one of the popular fitness-focused smartwatches, the Huawei Watch GT 2 Series has already gained a tremendous following in the fitness community. The GT 2 provides a lot of advanced technology at a very affordable price point compared to some of the other options out there...
It is elegant, accurate, has a great display, killer looks, awesome battery life, and it fixes most of the problems with its predecessor. We’ve already received three updates since using it, and that’s a testimony to HUAWEI’s commitment to constantly improve the product, and the user experience.
The Huawei Watch GT2 is a confusing device at the end of the day. It tries to offer a fitness tracker in a smartwatch body. That’s where I think the Watch GT2 fails to impress. No doubt, the watch has an excellent design and solid fitness tracking capabilities.
