Stylish. Battery life is fantastic. 10 days for me and I'm an active user. I swim 3 times a week & gym 3 times a week. Screen is superb. I have had it for nearly 2 weeks now and honestly can't think of any "issues".
The Huawei Watch GT 2 is attractive, easy to use, and has impressive battery life, but it lacks third-party app support and other common features found on most smartwatches.
Stylish; Tracks fitness and sleep; Long battery life; Onboard music storage.
Lacks third-party app support; No GPS or NFC.
Huawei's original Watch GT was less of a smartwatch and more of a fitness tracker on steroids, and the new GT 2 follows suit. Starting at €229 (approximately $250), the GT 2 runs LiteOS and offers a wide array of fitness features, basic notifications, and onboard music management. But despite its stylish look and easy-to-use operating system, it lacks third-party app support and other common features found on competitors like the Apple Watch Series 5 and the Fitbit Versa 2. We got to check out a pre-production model in the UK and have some first impressions. Design and Display The Huawei Watch GT 2 comes in two varieties: a 42mm version (€229, approximately $250) with a 1.2-inch, 390-by-390 pixel AMOLED display at 0.4 inches thick, and a 46mm version (€249, approximately $270) with a 1.39-inch, 454-by-454 pixel display at 0.3 inches thick. The smaller version has a screen that curves all the way to the edge, while the larger model has a thick bezel with 24-hour markings engraved ...

The Huawei Watch GT built a reputation for crazy-long battery life and great health tracking data. The GT 2 continues with that ethos, adding a couple of new features like the always-on lock screen and loudspeaker, making for a great fitness watch.
Really long battery life; Stylish good-looking design; Lots of health tracking data; Vibrant display; Two size options
Watch faces aren't customisable enough; Refresh rate is slow and stutters; Always-on screen only has two styles
The Huawei Watch GT 2 is similar to the original Watch GT, but has slightly better looks, plus an integrated speaker and mic for calls. This doesn’t change the fact that the GT series is low on smarts, although those skills have improved, and it still has that class-leading battery life.
Sharp display; Very long battery life; Good fitness tracking
The Huawei Watch GT 2 combines a premium-feeling design with the long-lasting battery benefits of the original device. It doesn't offer as much functionality as some other smartwatches, but that won't be a deal-breaker for many of those who'll like the look of this wearable.
More premium design; Attractive display
Limited functionality; Proprietary charger
The Watch GT 2 has superb sports-tracking credentials for its price. As well as logging an impressive number of activities and offering handy insights into your workouts, stress, sleep, it'll emphatically outlast any WearOS device and the Apple Watch when it comes to battery life.
Great design and display; Superb sports tracking features; Best-in-class battery life
Limited app support; Poor software; Not cheap
The Huawei Watch GT 2 is official and offers an additional option for all tech enthusiasts who want to wear a smartwatch on their wrist. But what does it offer and at what price Discover everything in our complete review!
Design and customization; Easy to use; Battery life; Affordable price
GPS sometimes inaccurate; Unnecessary notifications; No Always-on mode
The Watch GT 2 arrives with improvements such as a Kirin A1 processor, 3D glass and increased sports tracking to take on rivals like the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Apple Watch Series 5.
