Logitech G502 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse Review
Logitech's G502 Lightspeed is pricey, even for a wireless mouse, but you get all the benefits of a cordless controller without the trade-offs. Logitech wants you to go all in on a wireless gaming mouse. Its newest model, the G502 Lightspeed, offers a cord-free controller without compromise: Built in the image of the company's popular G502 Hero gaming mouse, the Lightspeed's sleek 11-button design, light and sturdy shell, and flawless 2.4GHz connection combine to make something great. It also has great battery life, though that isn't even a consideration in its ideal setup—paired with Logitech's PowerPlay wireless charging mousepad so it stays powered in perpetuity. At $149.99 for the mouse plus $99.99 for PowerPlay, the G502 Lightspeed asks a lot from your wallet, but gives back just as much. The G502, Untethered At first glance, the G502 Lightspeed looks identical to the wired G502 Hero. It's an 11-button right-hander, sturdy in matte and shiny shades of black plastic. From the top down, there are two primary buttons and a clickable scroll wheel with two buttons below it; one is a macro button, the other is mechanica...- Wireless with almost no latency
- Great battery life
- Wireless charging with PowerPlay mousepad
- Expensive
- Lighting isn't visible when in use
Versatile option for gamers and professionals
After having used this mouse for a bit and getting used to having more than 3 buttons on a mouse, this has got to be one of the best purchases I've made, if only for the fact it has a micro USB port for charging. If that was replaced with Type-C you'd have a winner and a 5-star. Not to say that the rest of the mouse isn't already an incredibly compelling option: - Up to a maximum of 25,000 DPI because reasons (I tried it out and wondered what use it has except for maybe wanting to slingshot something into the next dimension). - Very lightweight with additional weights and options to balance to your taste, I use a palm grip most of the...view more

The G502 Hero's design is a bit overcomplicated, but it's still the go-to heavy palm grip mouse with a new, even better sensor.
Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review
It’s really difficult telling gaming mice apart nowadays. All feature highly adjustable DPI or sensitivity settings. All are somewhat colourful and snazzy with splashes of style littering their compact bodies.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review
As someone who works on a computer and plays video games when time permits, it's safe to say I do a lot of mousing. For years I've favored the Logitech Performance MX 's big, comfortable design and its 'Darkfield' laser sensor has always been more than capable of keeping up despite being wireless...- Between its comfortable layout, 4K-friendly 12,000 DPI, surface calibration software and its sub-$100 price tag, the G502 seems like Logitech's new go-to enthusiast mouse.
- Its cord is no trouble but the G502 isn't wireless and that could be a con for you. It may also sit a little low for someone with a large hand and a preference for the palm grip.

Overall, the Logitech Proteus Core G502 is an excellent gaming mouse – especially if you are from the future! As displays eventually increase in resolution, we will need more sensitive mice to keep pace and the G502 ticks that box perfectly, If you are already on the Ultra HD 4K bandwagon or even...- Most sensitive mouse available right now, perfect for 4K gamers., Heavy, so may suit bigger handed gamers., Excellent software package is easy to use., Comfortable once you get used to it., Solid build quality., Bundled customisable weights., High quality braided cable.
- Scroll wheel is either overly loud, or requires too much micro management., It is a bit heavy for smaller handed gamers., Sensitivity could be considered too high by many.

Over the past couple of years, Logitech has delivered a string of quality G-series releases, particularly when it comes to mice. Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review
We’ve tested a whole lot of mice over the years, but ever since September 2016, we’ve personally used nothing but Logitech's G403 and more recently its close cousin the G703. In our review of the G403 , we called it “The One,” as in the one mouse everyone had been waiting for, which made all other...- Unmatched wireless gaming and wireless charging performance
- aesthetics that are still from the future
- Wireless features matched by other Logitech mice
- dated design betrayed by too-narrow grip
- too expensive
