Excellent phone perfect for most needs
I bought this phone from Phones 4U on Friday due to having a locked three Nokia C2-01 and having issues trying to unlock the C2-01. I decided to buy a SIM-FREE Nokia 300 Ashe instead. It does everything my C2-01 did and far more with a nice handy touchscreen that works well.

which is a very compelling package. Other option that you can consider in this price segment is Samsung Wave 525 costing Rs 6,000.

mobile phone
I use the product for mainly texting, the sound is amazing good but the only problems I have with this phone is the camera and the battery, the camera is supposed to be 5 mega pixel, no where near that same quality as 3.2 mega pixel and the battery don't last long if used for pointless purposes.
Pros:
- Design
- Multimedia capabilities
- Screen size
- Voice quality
- Weight
Cons:
- Battery
- Camera
- Internet

Editor's Review of the Asha 300
The Nokia Asha 300 is by no means revolutionary. However, those of you looking for an affordable phone with more an offer than your average cheap blower, the S40 handset could be a great choice. The main downside, though, is the phone's resistive screen, which could put more-savvy mobile users off.

Nokia Asha 300 Review
The Nokia Asha 300 is a part of Nokia's entry-level lineup that offers features that go beyond making calls and sending SMSes. With 3G connectivity, a touchscreen and social networking integration, should this be the next feature phone you opt for, or are you better off aspiring for a smartphone?
Pros:
- 1GHz processor
- Good looks and build quality
- 3G connectivity
- Good battery life
Cons:
- No Wi-Fi
- No multitasking
- Resistive touchscreen

Nokia Asha 300
Nokia Lumia 610 – If you're not prepared to give up on Nokia, you might want to try the other operating system they're supporting, which is Microsoft's Windows Phone. All of the Lumia models run with Windows Phone 7.5, and the Lumia 610 is the budget handset in this line-up.
