Acceptable ...barely

I bought this for my aunt who lives in the Seychelles and wanted a not-touch phone. As such, it may serve her purposes. I can also use it on the way over when I stop in London for a week. I would never buy this phone for myself in a million years.
Pros:
  • Use anywhere it anywhere
  • its unlocked! Looks good
Cons:
  • Slow, horrible interface, and screen is very low quality
  • battery cover is cheap and feels like it will break easily

Good battery life, inapt for Microsoft exchange mails & no Viber or Skype.

Doesn't accept Microsoft Exchange mail setup. Poor camera & no flash. No ambient light detector so doesn't switch on & off when you hold the camera close for calls etc... Incompatible with Viber.

Editor's Review of the Asha 302

Rounding out the phone's features are a grainy 3.2MP camera, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. While it's easy to be too harsh on feature phones these days, the Asha 302 lacks anything to make it preferable over a low-end smartphone.

Does not support Mail for Exchange

Please note this handset does not support the Mail for Exchange app provided by Nokia. The OS needs to be updated to v14.53 for this to work. Although released elsewhere in the world, Optus have not released the OS in Australia, nor have they provided a date for the release.

Could be so much more...

I've had this phone for a couple of months now having previously had the older version. The monthly plan is cheap but this essentially reflects what you can do with the phone. Text and calling are fine but e-mail and internet are poor, very poor. The camera is also of poor quality.

Nokia Asha 302 in the house

The Asha 302 is one of the most advanced phones in Nokia's Asha line-up. With a 1GHz processor, claims to Mail for Exchange functionality, Nokia's new data compressing web browser, and looks that sweep you off your feet, the Asha 302 sounds amazing for a phone that is pegged around N20,000 only.

E-serious

The Nokia Asha 302 comes between the Asha 300 and the Asha 303 in Nokia's updated featurephone lineup, but it doesn't quite follow the numerical order. Although obviously not a smartphone, this S40 messenger is almost halfway there.

Nokia Asha 302 Review

The latest in Nokia's Asha family is the 302, first announced in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2012 and scheduled for release later this year. Nokia aims to take all of the best features of its flagship Asha 303 and enhance them with a few extra toys for the 302.
