For fans of the Windows Phone 7 OS, the Lumia 800 has been anticipated as the flagship that it has desperately needed. Yet, in many ways we've already reviewed the Lumia 800 hardware in its previous incarnation as the N9 – does the OS make that much difference?

Nokia's Lumia 800 shows the world Windows Phone done right
One of the problems smartphone manufacturers face when they design and build a Windows Phone powered device is that if you've seen one Windows Phone, you've basically seen them all.
Pros:
- Near-perfect design
- solid camera
- excellent AMOLED display
- fast and silky smooth
Cons:
- Non-swappable battery
- no 1080p HD video recording

Nokia Lumia 800
Of the major smartphones to be launched in 2011, the Lumia is perhaps the most affordable. As such, the phone is therefore ideal for someone who's not obsessed with cutting-edge technical capabilities, but still wants reliable internet access on a user-friendly platform.
Pros:
- First class design
- Intuitive interface
- Excellent for social networking
Cons:
- Sub-par battery life
- Mediocre camera

Nokia Lumia 800
The Nokia Lumia 800 is far from perfect, but those niggles are just that, niggles. In future models we would like to see a front facing camera, NFC and we'd love a dock. We'd also like an improvement to the Micro USB flap to something more becoming of such a lovely device.

Cons:
- No front facing camera
- no nfc
- no replaceable battery

Nokia Lumia 800 review
We can't say whether the Nokia Lumia 800 is going to give Nokia back its crown, but we are more than happy to say it's one of the most complete smartphones on the market
Pros:
- Fantastic hardware
- Very fast
- Windows Phone Mango is a pleasure to use
- Excellent display
Cons:
- Camera isn't what we expected
- Screen smudges easily

Works well
This is a high quality phone, with an intuitive operating system. We have these at work and the users are very happy with it. Many fewer problems reported than the previous phone.

Nokia Lumia 800 Review: In Depth
The Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the most important phone releases of 2011. With it Nokia is hoping to cling back some market share after seeing the competition, Apple, Samsung and HTC, leap ahead at the high end of the UK smartphone market over the last few years.
Pros:
- Fantastic build
- User-friendly operating system
- Excellent screen for movies
Cons:
- Poor camera
- No removable memory

Have got my N8 & believe it's the best. Time will tell. Lots of gadgets & extras. Will need to get my head around it all to make it worthwhile! Two problems. Headset for radio does not connect well. You have to loosen the connection to get music played or push the connection in & get NO MUSIC. !

lumia 800 is a really good phone as for 18 thousand one is getting windows 8 phone . it is very user friendly . the camera clarity is really good . you get all the applications of n world . if one is looking for a phone in this price it will be the perfect phone .
