Works well

This is a high quality phone, with an intuitive operating system. We have these at work and the users are very happy with it. Many fewer problems reported than the previous phone.

The handset itself has a lovely design, apart from the port locations, it also boasts a beautiful display. It was extremely easy to use and we found our way around the operating system very quickly. Letting it down are the lack of an SD card slot, poor video recording quality and weak battery life.
Pros:
  • Beautiful design
  • easy to use interface
  • excellent social integration
Cons:
  • Battery doesn't really last
  • lack of apps on the Windows Marketplace
  • poor quality video recording

"Nokia's Answer To A Purse-Friendly iPhone?"

I replaced my last smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy Ace, around Christmas last year. There was so much choice that it was hard to figure out what would be the best option, so I spent ages online looking at deals and in stores getting a feel for different models.
Pros:
  • Sleek but fairly robust
  • good camera
  • responsive & intuitive to use
  • screen image quality
Cons:
  • Limited apps
  • having to use Zune for file transfers

Nokia Lumia 800 Review: In Depth

The Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the most important phone releases of 2011. With it Nokia is hoping to cling back some market share after seeing the competition, Apple, Samsung and HTC, leap ahead at the high end of the UK smartphone market over the last few years.
Pros:
  • Fantastic build
  • User-friendly operating system
  • Excellent screen for movies
Cons:
  • Poor camera
  • No removable memory

Pretty crappy phone

The phone is okay for maybe a 10 yr old, but for a person 12 and up the phone is terrible. It has virtually no apps that are useful. I only bought the phone because my galaxy 2 broke, and i needed a cheap phone before my next upgrade.
Pros:
  • Display setup
Cons:
  • -Little memory space -No front camera -Bad battery life -Bad apps

Review: Nokia Lumia 800

I've been an iPhone user since the 3G and when my iPhone 4 was broken I had a good look at the market to see what was available and a bit different to the rest of the competition.
Pros:
  • Durable
  • comfortable
  • Windows Phone is refreshing
  • great battery performance
  • included case is all you need (same some cash on all those cases!
Cons:
  • Curved screen left me thinking its easy to scratch and fitting a protector may prove tricky
  • Windows Phone doesn't have the app support of iOS or Android (try before you buy)
  • charging bay flap is going to break
