Welcome to the FoneArena Nokia Lumia 800 Review. It is barely eight months after Stephen Elop's infamous burning platform memo, Nokia has announced their first ever Windows Phone 7 device and has even begun shipment to retailers in Europe. Many thought it was impossible, but Nokia did it anyway.

Nokia Lumia 800
The Nokia Lumia 800 is far from perfect, but those niggles are just that, niggles. In future models we would like to see a front facing camera, NFC and we'd love a dock. We'd also like an improvement to the Micro USB flap to something more becoming of such a lovely device.
Pros:
- AMOLED screen
- Nokia Drive
- Nokia Music
- Design
Cons:
- No front facing camera
- no nfc
- no replaceable battery

We can't say whether the Nokia Lumia 800 is going to give Nokia back its crown, but we are more than happy to say it's one of the most complete smartphones on the market
Pros:
- Fantastic hardware
- Very fast
- Windows Phone Mango is a pleasure to use
- Excellent display
Cons:
- Camera isn't what we expected
- Screen smudges easily

Nokia Lumia 800 review
Reviewing the Lumia 800 is a hard and, dare I say, unprecedented task. Never before have we seen a phone like Nokia's N9 - a benchmark setter in some design aspects, yet a complete dead end in terms of software ecosystem - and now the 800 arrives ensconced in a nearly identical physical body.
Pros:
- Excellent design
- Attractive display
- Brightest future of any recent Nokia phone
Cons:
- No Internet Sharing
- Fiddly volume rocker and lock key
- No front-facing camera

Nokia Lumia 800
The Lumia 800 is a slick and engaging smart phone and its Windows Phone software has excellent social media integration. However, its camera isn't as good as we expected and we can't help but feel that there's better to come from Nokia on the Windows Phone front.
Pros:
- Windows Phone software is slick and fun to use
- Free music streaming with Nokia's Mix Radio
- Onboard navigation software
- Stylish, sturdy design
Cons:
- Camera is pretty average
- No microSD card slot
- Lacks a front-facing camera
- Not as many apps as Android or iPhone

Nokia Lumia 800
Of the major smartphones to be launched in 2011, the Lumia is perhaps the most affordable. As such, the phone is therefore ideal for someone who's not obsessed with cutting-edge technical capabilities, but still wants reliable internet access on a user-friendly platform.
Pros:
- First class design
- Intuitive interface
- Excellent for social networking
Cons:
- Sub-par battery life
- Mediocre camera

Nokia Lumia 800 review
It feels a bit strange to write this, but in terms of smartphones both Microsoft and Nokia are currently the little guys battling against the giants of Google and Apple. It kind of makes sense, therefore, for the two companies to come together to fight back, and their first joint assault take the...

Nokia Lumia 800
