Nokia Lumia 800
Aesthetics aside, the speed and ease of use of the Lumia 800 – and the remarkable People application – make this a very attractive alternative to the iPhone. Even if you don't do much social networking, it's nice to have communications and events aggregated under by contact or group.

Nokia Lumia 800 Review
It was a long wait for the first Nokia smartphone with Windows Phone OS. And we believe that wait has been a long but successful one. The Lumia 800 seems to be a well designed package - with looks far superior than any other WP phone out there, an excellent display, good battery life and a UI that...
Pros:
- Unique yet brilliant design
- Classy yet solid build quality
- Excellent UI on WP 7.5 - Live Tiles particularly
- Very good display - particularly for multimedia consumption
- Contact handling much improved with Mango update
- Battery life doesn't disappoint
Cons:
- Call clarity isn't as good as we had hoped for
- Accessing the micro SIM slot is an unnecessarily long process
- Disappointing camera

Review: Nokia Lumia 800
The mobile version of IE9 is capable of blazing-fast page rendering, thanks to the hardware acceleration. The browser is stable and offers extremely smooth scrolling. However, it lacks Flash support, and has a weird limit of six tabs.
Pros:
- Brilliant display
- Minimalistic design
- Sleek and fluid UI
- Unmatched social networking integration
- Free voice-guided sat nav
- Great camera
Cons:
- Lack of mass storage mode
- Can't share files over Bluetooth
- No front camera

Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone
The Nokia Lumia 800 may not be a better phone than some of its competitors, but it's the first Nokia phone that can at least offer a very good alternative. The Lumia 800 is easily the best Windows Phone on the market, combining a fantastic design with an excellent screen and very slick software. Embattled Nokia has been doing it tough in recent years, but the Finnish giant hopes the Lumia 800 will be the device that turns its fortunes around. It's the first Nokia smartphone to run the Windows Phone operating system, and we also think it's the first smartphone that effectively competes with iPhone and Android rivals. The Nokia Lumia 800 may not be a better phone than some of its competitors, but it's certainly a viable option for any potential smartphone buyer.
Pros:
- Fantastic design and build quality
- Slick and easy to use software
- Nokia Drive app
Cons:
- No memory card slot
- Below average battery life
- Limited apps compared to rivals
