Windows Phone is so much nicer to use that ios and most Android phones. I've seen lots of comments that the number of apps is a problem though some admit they have all they need. My take on the apps thing is that it is really unlikely to hamper most peoples enjoymeny if they learn to use WP properly...
Pros:
  • Hardware is beautiful
  • Windows Phone is fast and a joy to use
  • app situation is not a problem for most
Cons:
  • Very little
  • The door over the USB is irritating, though mine came loose after I dropped the phone with it open so I pulled it off

Very good phone at an excellent price.

I wanted an upgrade from my HTC desire which I purchased a few years ago and after looking around I found the Nokia lumia 800. As I have always been an android user I was unsure about the jump to windows phone. I was not sure if it would have all of the features that an android phone gave.

Review: Nokia Lumia 800

It is a good attempt by Nokia. It is easy to hold and has good design with strong body, which some customers like. However, there is a lot of scope for improvement in it.

Nokia Lumia 800: Nokia's Answer To A Purse-Friendly iPhone?

I replaced my last smartphone, a Samsung Galaxy Ace, around Christmas last year. There was so much choice that it was hard to figure out what would be the best option, so I spent ages online looking at deals and in stores getting a feel for different models.

Pretty crappy phone

The phone is okay for maybe a 10 yr old, but for a person 12 and up the phone is terrible. It has virtually no apps that are useful. I only bought the phone because my galaxy 2 broke, and i needed a cheap phone before my next upgrade.
Pros:
  • Display setup
Cons:
  • -Little memory space -No front camera -Bad battery life -Bad apps

Nokia Lumia 800

The Nokia Lumia 800 is the first smartphone to feature Mango – the latest iteration of Windows Phone. It's a landmark handset in Nokia's history, at a time where the Finnish company needs a successful smartphone.

If apps are what sells a phone to you, then you should hold off on buying the Nokia Lumia 800. It's more than capable of competing in any other area, however, proving easy to use, attractive and well made. We like it!
Pros:
  • Let's cut to the point: The Nokia Lumia 800 is arguably the best Nokia smartphone we've ever seen
  • It features the same amazing design as the Nokia N9, with a uni-body design that matches the Apple iPhone 4S for design and quality – and it also features a stunning bright, colourful and sharp screen.
Cons:
  • It's not all good, however
  • The biggest problem with the Nokia Lumia 800 is the lack of applications for the Windows Phone operating system.

Nokia Lumia 800 review

The Nokia Lumia 800 is a hi-tech phone at the higher end of midrange prices, so it's a bit cheaper than the top Android handsets from Samsung and HTC. It won't blow the competition out of the water the way the iPhone has often done in the past, but it's a very capable handset and definitely worth a...
Pros:
  • Windows Phone 7.5 Mango
  • Sharp 3.7-inch touch screen
  • fast processor
  • 8MP camera with 720p HD video recording
  • Nokia Mix Radio
  • Nokia Drive satnav

This is an attractive option if you're a fan of Windows Phone and great design. It's far from perfect, though, and Nokia's best is yet to come.

Nokia Lumia 800 review

Reviewing the Lumia 800 is a hard and, dare I say, unprecedented task. Never before have we seen a phone like Nokia's N9 - a benchmark setter in some design aspects, yet a complete dead end in terms of software ecosystem - and now the 800 arrives ensconced in a nearly identical physical body.
Pros:
  • Excellent design
  • Attractive display
  • Brightest future of any recent Nokia phone
Cons:
  • No Internet Sharing
  • Fiddly volume rocker and lock key
  • No front-facing camera
