It's the end of the year and Nokia has finally announced its "Piece de resistance" handset – the Lumia 800. It's the first, of course in the series and is based on their MeeGo running N9 device only this one is, of course, running on the latest version of the Windows Phone 7 OS, which is Mango.

Nokia Lumia 800 Review
There are some downsides, like a lack of a front-facing camera, blurry video recording, and a camera that doesn't impress as much as Nokia boasts, but overall it's one of the best Windows Phones around.
Pros:
- Vivid AMOLED screen
- Solid design and curved glass
- Good custom apps
- Windows Phone 7.5 UI is easy to use
Cons:
- No front-facing camera
- No microSD
- Single-core processor
- Poor video quality
- No HSPA+ or 4G support
- Unlocked in the US

Nokia Lumia 800 mini-review
I recently had the chance to play around with the new Nokia Lumia for a few weeks, experimenting with its capabilities and pushing it to see what it's really capable of. In fact, there's a full, more technical review of its digital wizardry right here on our sister site, Tegato.

Pros:
- Sleek design
- Futuristic build quality
- One of the best Windows phones
- AMOLED Mango combo

Android is currently the most popular OS for mobile devices, and when it comes to specific handsets, I'd say that the Nexus series by Google is definitely the flagship. The first Nexus One was manufactured by HTC, but for the next two models Google switched to Samsung, which lead to an improvement...

If you've been wondering whether you should get a Nokia Lumia 800 as your Windows Phone, look no further (unless if you are thinking of its big sister, the Lumia 900)!
Pros:
- In terms of looks, there is no doubt about it – Lumia 800 is a gorgeous phone
- The smooth feel of the phone is excellent and the size of the screen+phone overall is just nice
- I wish I got the Cyan version though because I think that the color makes the Lumia 800 really shines, + Sleek, elegant,...
Cons:
- The design is similar to the Nokia N9 and it looks beautiful, elegant, and stylish
- It's somewhat square-y and curvy, making it a beauty to behold
- It's pretty flat at the back side of the phone, compared to the Nokia N8 that I reviewed back in 2010, Nokia Lumia 800 is equipped with an 8 Megapixels...
