Nokia Lumia 800 review
Reviewing the Lumia 800 is a hard and, dare I say, unprecedented task. Never before have we seen a phone like Nokia's N9 - a benchmark setter in some design aspects, yet a complete dead end in terms of software ecosystem - and now the 800 arrives ensconced in a nearly identical physical body.
Pros:
- Excellent design
- Attractive display
- Brightest future of any recent Nokia phone
Cons:
- No Internet Sharing
- Fiddly volume rocker and lock key
- No front-facing camera

The Lumia and WP7 combination is going to be the saviour for Nokia and Microsoft in the mobile game. The relationship between Nokia and Microsoft brings the two companies back into the smartphone game. Why do I say this? It's quite simple in my mind: Nokia owns the emerging markets.
Pros:
- The two screen experience that WP7 dictates makes the device easy to understand for anyone whether you’ve used a touch device before or not
- Two screens, two options, lots of blocks that you can customise.
Cons:
- For the more experienced and demanding users I believe the phone is oversimplified and too controlled inside of the app experience
- Oddly all the buttons on the Lumia 800 are on the right, some people might absolutely love this feature but I think it’s a bug

Nokia Lumia 800 in-depth review -
The world of smartphones is a scary one - patents wars constantly being fought, lawsuits regularly launched and upstarts from California who've never had anything to do with phones suddenly winning over your customer base. What's a one-time global mobile leader to do?
Pros:
- Great design
- responsive touch-screen
- Nokia Maps is far better than Bing Maps
- free sat nav
- excellent email and social features as per Windows
Cons:
- Mediocre camera and lack of Windows apps puts it a ways below Android and iPhone flagship phones

Nokia Lumia 800
The Lumia 800 is a slick and engaging smart phone and its Windows Phone software has excellent social media integration. However, its camera isn't as good as we expected and we can't help but feel that there's better to come from Nokia on the Windows Phone front.
Pros:
- Windows Phone software is slick and fun to use
- Free music streaming with Nokia's Mix Radio
- Onboard navigation software
- Stylish, sturdy design
Cons:
- Camera is pretty average
- No microSD card slot
- Lacks a front-facing camera
- Not as many apps as Android or iPhone

Nokia Lumia 800
We're very excited by the Nokia Lumia 800: it's one of the most elegant, pocket-friendly and unique Windows Phone 7.5 handsets on the market. The AMOLED display is extremely sharp with accurate and vivid colors that pop. The phone feels wonderful in hand and is very fast.
Pros:
- Elegant and pocketable design
- excellent display
Cons:
- Only available as an import for US buyers right now

- Sleek sophisticated design
- Sharp 8-MP camera
- Strong battery life
- Vibrant screen
Cons:
- Flimsy microUSB port

So the Lumia 800 is here: the first smartphone (or is it a Windows Phone?) to result from the partnership between struggling Finnish hardware giant Nokia and Microsoft, which is also seeking a bigger slice of...

Nokia Lumia 800
Aesthetics aside, the speed and ease of use of the Lumia 800 – and the remarkable People application – make this a very attractive alternative to the iPhone. Even if you don't do much social networking, it's nice to have communications and events aggregated under by contact or group.

Nokia Lumia 800 Review
It was a long wait for the first Nokia smartphone with Windows Phone OS. And we believe that wait has been a long but successful one. The Lumia 800 seems to be a well designed package - with looks far superior than any other WP phone out there, an excellent display, good battery life and a UI that...
Pros:
- Unique yet brilliant design
- Classy yet solid build quality
- Excellent UI on WP 7.5 - Live Tiles particularly
- Very good display - particularly for multimedia consumption
- Contact handling much improved with Mango update
- Battery life doesn't disappoint
Cons:
- Call clarity isn't as good as we had hoped for
- Accessing the micro SIM slot is an unnecessarily long process
- Disappointing camera
