Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
If you’re looking for a flagship phone with category-leading speakers, the Galaxy S20+ isn’t it, especially if you want to pump out bass. The sound it does provide, though, is fairly well balanced and features solid mid-tones and treble.- Well-balanced midrange and treble when listening to music or watching movies
- Good spatial rendering
- with good localizability and stereo balance
- Good preservation of tonal range
- Clear and intelligible recording of voices
- Great preservation of sound dynamics
- Microphone directivity improves...
- Tonal reproduction lacks bass at all volumes
- Excessive high-end at maximum volume impairs the gaming experience
- Inconsistent spatial performances depending on the app used
- Improved volume preservation over the S10+
- but still behind current competitors
Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
The Galaxy S20 Plus feels like the enthusiast’s phone most Samsung fans will opt for in 2020. It costs less than the S20 Ultra, but delivers the same core user experience - a big 120Hz screen, 8K video capture and a load of smart camera software features, not to mention 5G.- Competitive 3x optical zoom
- Smooth
- sharp
- big screen
- Very familiar design
- No headphone jack
Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
NEW DELHI: As far as Samsung’s 2020 range of flagship phones go, the S20 and S20 Plus are the runts of the family. The show-off value is in the foldable Galaxy Z Flip, while the S20 Ultra is the company’s real no compromise flagship.
Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
The Samsung Galaxy S20+ is priced at Rs 73,999 and is available at present only in the 128GB storage option. This is part of the larger simplification that Samsung is doing across the Galaxy S20 series—lesser variants, more clarity for potential customers. At least for the early adopters.
Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is a nearly-perfect smartphone that connects to more 5G networks and has better cameras than ever, though you’ll be paying for the privilege, as this is the priciest Plus smartphone yet.- Powerful yet sleek
- Much-improved zoom
- More 5G connectivity
- Ever-higher price
- Improvements are mostly iterative
- No more 3.5mm headphone jack
Galaxy S20 Plus review: The best of both worlds
The middle of Samsung's new Galaxy S20 devices is powerful and large, without being ridiculous. In Samsung's Galaxy S20 world, the S20 Plus is most in need of an identity. Smack dab in the middle of the smaller, cheaper Galaxy S20 and the gargantuan Galaxy S20 Ultra (with an eye-watering price tag to match), the S20 Plus has very little to differentiate itself from the other two. Pricing starts at $1,199, £999 and AU$1,499.- Large, brilliant screen
- Excellent camera image quality
- Supports fastest 5G speeds
- Expensive
- Thick, heavy, unrefined
Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
The market for premium flagship devices is a small one since not a lot of folks can afford the hefty price tag they fetch for. Factor in the lack of 5G support and minimal performance gains, the Galaxy S20+ may not seem like a worthy upgrade if you’re already rocking last year’s flagship devices.
Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
We’re coming to an end of what’s a very long review for what probably the most awaited and important Android devices of 2020. Samsung has made several promises as to what the S20 series brings, with the majority of the hype being surrounded around the new cameras, with the other key point being the...
Samsung Galaxy S20+ Cosmic Black 128GB 5G SM-G986BZKDNZO review
After using the Samsung Galaxy S20+ for a few weeks, I am very impressed with the new technologies that are equipped in this year's Samsung flagship. It will undoubtedly cement itself as one of the best phones to come out for this year.
