The Samsung Galaxy S23+ will likely be the phone for many people. With the screen space that the regular S23 lacks, and a price that's more attractive than the S23 Ultra, it only makes a couple of sacrifices against that top model.
Pros:
- Pllenty of Snapdragon power, Great display, Software support and updates, Great design and build
Cons:
- Charging speeds not exciting, Not much change from S22

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus ticks a lot of boxes. It has a good, big screen; versatile camera and long battery life. This might not be the most exciting phone of 2023, but it’s a reliable device to have by your side.
Pros:
- Perfect size, Long battery life, Years of software updates, You want a complete, no-nonsense Android phone: The S23 Plus might not excel in one clear area, but it’s very well-designed and performs excellently.
Cons:
- Takes an age to charge, Camera is good, but struggles to standout at this price, A sharper resolution would have been nice, You’ve got a little extra to spend: With the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra offering a much better experience overall, if you can pay the extra then we’d advise you do.

The middle child of the family, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus is a good choice if you can’t afford the Ultra

- £100 price increase, Few camera changes, No microSD slot

It might feel like nitpicking, but with so few meaningful changes, the S23+ doesn’t feel like it’s worth upgrading to if you’re using an S22 or S21. That is, at least, if you’re in the US.

There's a lot to love about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus: its flat screen is more practical to use than the curved one of the S23 Ultra; the battery life is really impressive for this generation; and there's all the brightness, power and software ease-of-use you could wish for.
Pros:
- Lovely flat-screen design and distinct camera arrangement, Smooth software performance, Solid battery life
Cons:
- It's really expensive, especially considering Pixel 7 Pro, No longer the camera champ, look at Xiaomi 13 Pro, The S23 Ultra is the all-in option
