Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra reviewed: a forward thinking phone
There’s a rather obvious statement to be made that this year is Samsung’s best Galaxy yet. That’s iterative and expected. Few phones go backwards, and Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra is definitely a better phone moving forward.
Pros:
- Lovely titanium design, Incredible speed and performance, Excellent camera system, AI features aim to help and feel less like gimmicks, S-Pen is still a handy inclusion, Water resistance, Wireless charging
Cons:
- No Qi2, Expensive, AI features will cost money after 2025

I spent 2 weeks with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it's impressive(ly boring)
100x Space Zoom, a vibrant, curve-free AMOLED display, an S Pen with great features, and a lot more wrapped up in a titanium package. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is Samsung's statement on what a traditional slab smartphone should be in 2024.
Pros:
- A completely flat display that looks great, A battery that doesn't know what quit means, A powerhouse in performance
Cons:
- A tried and true design, The camera tends to overexpose shots
