Samsung Galaxy S III (Cricket Wireless) Review
The Samsung Galaxy S III is still one of the world's best smartphones, and available from Cricket Wireless at an unusually low price. The world's top Android smartphone is now available at a very low price without a contract. Cricket Wireless's innovation with its Galaxy S III phone isn't in technology—this is the same Galaxy S III that millions of people around the world love—but in its price. At $379.99 when it's on sale, Cricket's Galaxy S III beats other no-contract deals by more than a hundred bucks. That's enough to earn it our Editors' Choice award for smartphones on Cricket. Differences on CricketBy now, the Galaxy S III is a well-trodden road, and Cricket's unit is physically identical to MetroPCS's model. Read our review of the MetroPCS device to learn more. The software build is a bit different, featuring some persistent Cricket bloatware, but that shouldn't be enough to dissuade you. Cricket left Samsung's Game Hub, Media Hub, S Memo, S Suggest, and Samsung Apps stores intact. It added an account manager and some dumb redundant storefront and "mobile browser" links. But as I said, it's not a big dea...

Bad luck for me
I bought the phone for 2 weeks and found autofocus of the camera didn't work. Sent it back to shop for repair. And I was told to wait for 3 weeks to get the phone back. Even let me to wait after S4 release.

What an upgrade !
I upgraded from being a BlackBerry Bold 9900 fan to the Samsung Galaxy S3. At first I was a bit worried but as soon as I turned it on & the big screen lit up with the graphics I knew this was a cut above my poor old tiny screened 9900.

Great Purchase
I purchased the phone to use with Straight talk service, and it works great. I all application works exactly the same, and the speed is the same as Verizon. I do have 3G services, and love the face time the phone has to offer. I would recommend getting this phone.

Can't wait for contract to run out so I can have an iphone. The problem is the android software, what ever I download to the phone from my laptop or desk top doesn't work on the phone.
Pros:
- size
Cons:
- software - not compatable
- Battery life non existent

A mix of emotions (get the one x!)
I bought this phone after extensive research, and loved it. Until the screen protector came off for a cleaning. At first I thought I was seeing things but there was actual pixelation on the screen. Especially for red and white images.
Pros:
- speed
Cons:
- screen and material

better than your average free phone.
got the phone in November an sale for $50. I still feel like I got ripped off. All I got was an entry level phone with a very large screen. for a so-called high end phone you get a camera that is comparable to the flagship phone's of 2009, in a cheaply built phone.
Pros:
- the front half is built strong
- better than average battery
- gorilla glass
Cons:
- can't turn off camera sound effects, cheap built on the back half of the phone, volume and power button push to easily
- prop the phone up on its side for a video and the phone own weight will mute or power down the phone, BSI sensors for camera are cheap.
