Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ review: cutting edge
To state the obvious: the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a larger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge . That means one of the best Android phones of 2015 just got a bigger and better variant.
Pros:
- Flawless finish
- Consistent construction
- Excellent image quality
- Above average performance
- Good battery/energy saving options
Cons:
- Non-removable battery
- No microSD expansion

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is a bigger version of the S6 Edge. The dual curvy (edge) screen is unique and handset looks extraordinarily beautiful, not just on the outside but also, inside. It houses the powerful 64 Bit Exynos octa core processor.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ review
Fast, slick and dripping with features, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is as high-end as phablets come. It's not an essential upgrade to the standard Galaxy S6 Edge, but offers plenty to make it a desirable device in its own right.
Pros:
- Powerful
- lavish design
- variety of security tools
- great cameras
Cons:
- Worse benchmarks scores than the original
- expensive
- few compelling uses for the curved screen

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ review: Powerful everyday device, but fierce competitors in its own family
Samsung had announced the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and its large screen flagship, the Galaxy Note 5 , around the same time. While both these are large screen phones, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a higher end variant of the dual-edge display phone Samsung launched this year – the Galaxy S6 edge .

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ review
With more memory and excellent battery life the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a powerful phone and a great choice if you want a large screen. However, it's expensive, unwieldy and Samsung has dropped the IR blaster and hardly added anything to the edge screen.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus review
An excellent phone on its own merits, the Edge Plus is unfortunately let down by the fact that it's a little unnecessary compared to its predecessor.
Pros:
- Fantastic screen
- Great camera
- Gorgeous design
- Good performance
Cons:
- Expensive
- Can be tricky to use one-handed
- Battery life is a little disappointing
- Edge remains pointless

However, it's expensive, unwieldy and Samsung has dropped the IR blaster and hardly added anything to the edge screen. With the regular S6 available for less than £340 it's a no brainer.

"Phone Whore!"
*You may skip* I have had my device for about 8 months now, and I can honestly say this is the longest I have had the same device for that amount of time. Considering, Samsung basically comes out with new phones and features every month.
Pros:
- Space
- Design
- Edge features
- Apps
- Updates
- Camera Quality
- Download engine
Cons:
- Battery

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ review
I usually don't like to use the tired old refrain that Samsung copies a certain manufacturer's plans – but there's something familiar here. A brand releases a top-of-the-line phone, and then decides to make a phablet version by adding a 'Plus' to the end.
