Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch review

It is not an exaggeration to say that the original Galaxy Tab is one of our favourite gadgets. While Steve Jobs was telling his disciples that 7-inch tablets were dead on arrival, Samsung was busy winning us over with its compact, but functional tablet.
Pros:
  • Compact
  • nice to use
  • Ice Cream Sandwich is nice to have
  • beautiful screen
  • decent battery life
  • sensibly-priced
Cons:
  • Not much thinner or lighter than the original
  • camera output seems worse than orginal

Pros:
  • Latest OS
  • decent display and all the Android tablet trimmings at a budget price
Cons:
  • Small internal storage
  • decent but not very fast speed

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 review

It might be priced like a pocket money product, but the Galaxy Tab 2 has the DNA of Samsung's full-fat, full-priced tablets. The 1GHz processor is plenty powerful to keep Ice Cream Sandwich zipping along, and both audio and video are reliable – if never exactly exciting.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch review Review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch may not be the sleekest tablet but it packs the latest version of Android, known as Ice Cream Sandwich. It doesn't offer much in the way of power but it can handle the basics and is portable enough to slide into your pocket.

  • Has latest version of Android
  • Portable size
  • Relatively affordable price
Cons:
