After spending some time with the Flip 3 in the real world, I’ve come to realize a few things: I like being able to fold a phone, put it away and focus on work or living in the moment. But I can also turn a regular phone face down to do that.

The Galaxy Z Flip3 is a unique phone with one goal: give you an ultra-compact foldable phone with as few tradeoffs as possible compared to a similarly priced “classic” Galaxy phone. And for the most part, it does deliver a near-identical compute performance and legacy functionalities.

The original Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was an interesting phone, as it was a throwback to the flip phones that many of us grew up with. But it was a first-generation product and suffered from first-generation issues as a result.
Pros:
- IPX8 rated, The cover display is actually useful now, It feels like a regular phone when opened, The crease is barely visible most of the time and doesn’t get in the way of navigation
Cons:
- Battery life is just not great, It’s slippery and cases make it even bulkier, Can’t open it with just one hand, Power button fingerprint reader is awkward to use, Sub-par camera performance

Small and stylish, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G is a clamshell-style folding phone with a decent sized cover screen where you can read your messages, set timers or even take photos. While the camera system won't blow you away, everything else is pretty spot on.
Pros:
- Sturdy, waterproof design, Fast performance and good battery life, 1.9inch cover screen with widgets
Cons:
- Average camera system, Crease could sometimes get in the way, Quite thick when folded up
