Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G (Review Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G)
Unfold an outstanding productivity phone- Unique folding form factor, Enhanced durability and waterproofing, S Pen support
- Very heavy, Very expensive, Cameras could be better
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 review
An industry-defining foldable that offers improved hardware, optimised software and a few surprises (like S Pen stylus support and water resistance), on top of a lower price tag than its predecessor- Improved design and durability
- Productivity powerhouse
- Beautiful displays
- Consistent cameras
- Some apps require manual optimisation
- Terrible under-display camera
- Cumbersome
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 review
The world of foldables hasn’t really set our eyelids on fire like we’d hoped, but they are coming along. Three generations of foldable in, Samsung’s chunky chap is more interesting than ever, and feels like a worthy option for someone who lives a life around entertainment.- Still a really cool idea, Excellent performance, Fantastic entertainment device, Includes an under-screen camera (!), Rear cameras can be used as a selfie camera, Supports 5G, Wireless charging, Water resistant
- Very, very thick, Under-screen camera isn't great, Rear camera shots need to be sharper, No 8K video capture, S-Pen support feels like it's been thrown in as opposed to designed to be truly used with the Fold 3, Not a major leap on last year's Fold 2
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (256GB, Silver) - Excellent review
This can be considered two phones in one, ‘folded’ it’s a little narrow compared to most recent offering, ‘unfolded’ you need large hands or a flat surface to lay it on. Having told you about the Samsung Flip last year here is its big brother the Samsung Fold.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (256GB, Silver) - Excellent review
Samsung has always been open to experimental form factors. The first Note series is a good example of the Korean giant hitting on something that wasn’t immediately met with positive reviews. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is an evolution of that mindset.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 256GB Black SM-F926BZKDXNZ review
Regular readers know I'm a fan of Samsung's foldable phones and have spent a few thousand dollars the past couple of years picking up the Galaxy Fold and then the Z Fold 2 , but in both cases, I went back to a standard smartphone after a couple of months.- An innovative engineering marvel, Armor Aluminum material for a lighter and sleeker phone, High IPX8 water resistant design, Extensive S Pen support, Software optimized for foldables
- Still expensive, but $200 less than last year, S Pen is separate purchase, no silo, Battery life is just OK, Cameras not as good as other Samsung phones
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 256GB Silver SM-F926BZSDXNZ review
Well, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is here and it brings a few upgrades to the formula that made the Z Fold 2 quite cool. It has a very similar design and hinge, but we now have water resistance, slightly better screens, a new processor, S Pen support, and a new software experience that really makes...
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the first foldable phone that we recommend to people who would normally call themselves ‘early adopters’, yet held off on buying last year’s Z Fold 2 for good reason. Those fence-sitters will be swayed by the new Z Fold 3’s S Pen support, greater durability and water-resistance in an otherwise familiar-looking foldable design with unchanged cameras. It’s still mighty expensive, and therefore not for the average consumer, but it starts at a slightly lower price than its predecessors, making it ideal for those who've been looking to buy into the form factor but have been waiting on the sidelines.- S Pen support – finally
- More durable design
- Slightly cheaper than Fold 2
- Still very expensive
- Cameras could be better
- No front-screen S pen support
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 256GB Silver SM-F926BZSDXNZ review
The Z Fold 3 is water-resistant, more durable, $500 more affordable than its predecessor, has two good 120Hz refresh rate displays, a top-of-the-line processor, 12GB of RAM, and a user interface that is near perfect.- Waterproof and more durable, The UI works so well with the larger device, Screen feels so much better
- Still too expensive, The cameras aren’t to par with the price you’re paying, especially the UDC, Still too large, awkward and gimmicky for most
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (256GB, Phantom Green) AU - Pristine review
The Galaxy Z Fold3 is the best argument that can be made for this form factor. If you have the money to own it, this is a magical device.- IPX8 water-resistant, Most durable foldable device on the market, Stunning Design
- Battery life is still not consistent, Still very expensive
