Sony Cyber-shot W830 review
The Sony W830 is an uncomplicated proposition. It's a competitivitely priced ultra compact with an 8x zoom lens. There are models with bigger zooms, but they tend to come with bigger bodies and higher price tags.
Pros:
- 8x stabilised optical zoom
- 360 degree Sweep Panorama
- Dedicated movie mode
- In-camera battery charging
Cons:
- Fiddly shutter release
- Lacklustre screen with narrow vertical viewing angle
- No Wifi

An Outstanding Digital Camera
This little camera is outstanding! The controls are highly intuitive and easy to use. For example, the lever for zooming is conveniently under the right thumb, on the back of the camera, instead of being located where the forefinger has to operate it and also press the "shoot" button.

Great little camera
I have been using this camera for a month now, no problems, simple easy instructions, good clear pictures. Easy to upload to computer, great for eBay. This camera is ideal for beginner and/or inexperienced camera user. Small, light, inexpensive, great photos, simple to use.

Best budget digital camera
I have thought for give one digital camera as gift to my sister on her birthday. I have compared many brand camera like Sony, Samsung, Philips and many more for same and finalized to go with Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W830 because it was have some good functions as well its come in budget. Advantage ...

Great bargain
The camera took great pics with a reasonable recovery time of 2-3 secs. The screen is small and does not do justice to the picture taken. The actual picture is far better, a good buy for a camera in the $100.00 dollar range.

Disapointed as it Sony lasted 9 months
Pretty good picture quality & battery life, but I'm disappointed that after 9 months, the Camera was unusable as the lens repeatedly jammed. It had infrequent use, & was kept in it's bubble wrap packaging in a travel bag for most of it's short life, so not exactly a rugged point & click - Forget...

Easy to use able to store easly inpurse or handbag
Easy operation with good features for a small camera that can be operated in one hand.
