Great images, but focus can hunt a bit
Great camera overall especially in the day light. I find the focusing to let it down somewhat though especially in low light, found it focus hunting quite a bit and it became very annoying as when it did finally get the focus it was a flawless image . But for the price it's worth it

Excellent lens for Sony Alpha series bodies.
I've already owned this lens in the past, but I bought this specifically for my Sony a7 for taking better photographs in low light as it has a large f/1.8 aperture. This lens is compatible with both APS-C and full frame Sony mirrorless cameras and will have a 75mm equivalent focal length on cameras...

Paired with the Sony A7iii I think this is really worth it for an affordable prime. Nice and sharp with good autofocus speeds despite some reviews I read

Excellent quality pictures
Brilliant portrait lens, beautiful Bokeh, lovely in low light for picture quality, focus ring while lovely to spin is a little insensitive for my liking (feels like you have to turn it 5 times around to go from long to short.

Great Budget FE Lens For Photography, Not Videography
If you're looking for a Sony FE lens around the 50mm focal length that has a wide aperture, but don't want to break the bank, then this is a solid investment. I managed to get some really decent shots with great shallow depth of field at f/1.8.
