Only the middle groups of the optical system move to achieve focus, so the overall length of the lens does not change when focusing. This is especially important when using for video recording. Other important benefits include fast autofocusing and a short minimum focusing distance.

Great low light performer
Bought this along with my A7R III. It is a solid lens and excellent Bokeh. I get great pictures even from fast moving toddlers and dogs. Even performs great on continuous shooting mode. The price point on this lens is the icing on the cake.

Great lens not as good as a G Master but very good prime lens with great bokah.

Unbelievable shots!!!!
I have got this lens a week ago. Were a little bit skeptical because of low price but was very surprised after very first shots. F 1.8 makes a huge differents combined how much light this lens can bring.
