A smart phone for people who don't want things they will never use. It is about the same size as the Iphone 4S and at 1/3 the price (no contract). The screen is beautiful which makes watching videos great. It will work with AT&T or any of their MVNOs. The best part is that it has a micro SD slot.

Wonderfully crafted smartphone that integrates itself into one's life.

Sony creates great durable phones that are affordable and function great, better than the others that have one spectacular feature. There is nothing not to like about the Xperia Sola, but greater RAM would be appreciated.

Great phone!

The seller had a problem with the warehouse and it took a little longer to get the phone, but he did everything he could to make it right and really took care of us. We would work with this seller again in a heartbeat.

Although it has a rather small screen, the Xperia Active isn't lacking in any other department. With a robust design, decent camera and nippy processor, this is the perfect handset for adventure-addicts who desire a rugged smart phone but don't want to compromise on functionality and power. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Active is a tough smart phone running Android 2.3. It's water-resistant and dustproof, and boasts microSD expansion and a 5-megapixel camera capable of shooting 720p HD video.
Pros:
  • Waterproof and dustproof design
  • Android 2.3
  • 720p video recording
  • Responsive touchscreen.
Cons:
  • Screen is small at 3 inches
  • Case might be too chunky for some.

The phone is somewhat smaller than the Xperia S and, weighing in at 107 grams, fits nicely into the hand and has a good solid feel. The Sola uses a standard sized SIM card, so no need to change to a micro SIM yet.
Pros:
  • Apart from being a phone, it is also a good social network connector
  • The screen senses your finger movement when hovering above, but without actually touching the screen
  • The display is clear and crisp and is easy to view even in sunlight courtesy of the Sony Bravia engine.
Cons:
  • No front camera No Ice Cream Sandwich
