Sony Xperia U Review
Sony Xperia U is one of the Xperia Series out of the trio; just like HTC One series the Xperia U is like the One V been the budget or entry level Android handset of the series. Â The Xperia U however might be a budget Android handset but after playing with it for over a week with the One V in mind,...
Pros:
- The Sony Xperia U is a budget Android Smart Phone that Feels nice to hold
- performed well in all basic tests like calls
- texting
- general usage and battery life
Cons:
- Camera is lacking especially the front facing camera and has no oleophobic coating on the screen
- Over tilting the screen, you also notice some loss of picture quality

Editor's Review of the Xperia U
Sony's first budget phone still shows off in the spec department, touting a 3.5-inch Reality Display, 720p HD video and an illuminating strip

While the Xperia U might appear to be the next one down from the P, better battery life and general performance make this a worthy consideration if you have an eye for a smaller phone.

All rounder, value for money compared to high end models
Nice all round android device with 5 mp camera. Camera features include panaramic shots, flash and red eye reduction. Nice size for ease and convenience. Comes with 8 GB but only 4 gb usable. The 512 mb ram is sufficient for smaller apps but its discernible slow when loading larger apps.

Fun united
The Xperia S has all the spotlight to itself in the NXT series, but history has taught us that Sony (and previously Sony Ericsson) can do wonders in the compact class. In two generations of minis and the Xperia ray, the Japanese have delivered packages that no one in the same price range can beat.

- Clear, vibrant display
- small but chunky
- dual-core processor
- cool interchangeable lip
Cons:
- Unimpressive battery life

Sony Xperia U review
The Xperia U is the cheapest entry-level model in Sony's new range of Android smartphones and costs £190 without contract, or around £150 on pay as you go. Despite the price, it has the same dual-core 1GHz processor as the mid-range £270 Xperia P and near-identical performance.
