Caution
Not a good phone at all. Problems with it from the start. I won't write all of the problems with it. Too long a list. :(

Sony Xperia U
I finally managed my mom to buy a smartphone. It was getting tasky on her to operate the webcam and turn on Skype every time she had to video chat with me abroad. So this time I was around, I got her a Sony Xperia U. I used it for about two weeks as my own cell phone to get acclimatized to the feel.

Sony Xperia U Android phone
The Sony Xperia U is an entry level model targeted at pre-paid users. When you consider its price, the overall package of excellent build quality, good battery life and intuitive software represents good value. There are a couple of drawbacks, the main one being a lack of memory, but if you can get your head around that, the Xperia U offers excellent value for money. Sony's Xperia U may be the baby of the company's new NXT series of Android phones but it certainly doesn't look out of place among more expensive alternatives. A compact design, good build quality and a functional user interface are only let down by a lack of internal memory and an older version of Google's Android software.
Pros:
- Good build quality
- Intuitive user interface
- Decent battery life
Cons:
- Limited memory
- Occasionally sluggish
- Outdated Android software

Sony Xperia U review
The Xperia U is the final piece of Sony's NXT series puzzle. In March came the flagship Xperia S, a good device that shipped with outdated software. It's only just been updated to Android 4.0 . Our verdict? It's not thinner, faster, stronger, or in any other way better than the pack.
Pros:
- Dense
- bright display
- Snappy
- agile performance
- Enduring battery life
- Great call quality
Cons:
- Ships with Android 2.3
- not 4.0
- Chubby design feels a little awkward
- LED lights not for everyone

Sony Xperia U in-depth review -
Sony's Xperia U is the tiniest member of Sony's new Xperia family, which includes the excellent 4.3-inch Xperia S and the middle-of-the-road four-inch Xperia P . With a mini 3.5-inch display, the Xperia U feels minute compared to its bigger brothers, yet makes up for it with a chunky and...
Pros:
- Sharp and vibrant mini screen Compact despite a chunky frame Dual-core performance Neat changeable lip
Cons:
- Lacklustre battery life Ropey shutter button Likely to be too small for some

Sony Xperia U
Sony Xperia Ion – If you don't think the Sony Xperia U provides quite enough zing for your tastes, you're probably going to prefer the Sony Xperia Ion. With a colossal 4.6-inch display, a 12MP camera and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, the Ion is a true powerhouse of a phone.

Sony Xperia U review
It is hard not to be impressed by the Xperia U's screen resolution or by Sony's efforts to squeeze in a dual-core processor. But on the other hand, Sony's failure to allow for memory expansion and the old hat Android 2.3 are downers, and overall the handset is a bit too small for my liking.
Pros:
- Distinctive design
- Sharp if small screen
- Capable processor
- Front camera
Cons:
- No memory expansion
- A bit too small overall

Sony Xperia U Review
Sony has just welcomed the smallest member of its Xperia family in the shape of the diddy Xperia U . It joins stablemates including the impressive 4.3in Xperia S and the 4in Xperia P.
Pros:
- Clear, vibrant display
- small but chunky
- dual-core processor
- cool interchangeable lip
Cons:
- Unimpressive battery life
- stiff camera key
- too small for some users

Sony Xperia U review
Sony's Xperia U joins the line up of smartphones the company announced under their NXT series. Along with the U, Sony now has the Xperia S , P, Sola, Go, Acro S and Miro in the market, which gives customers quite a handful of options to choose from.
