Sony Xperia U
An Android smartphone doesn't need to have the fastest processor, the largest touchscreen display, or the fastest mobile data speeds in order to be great. It just has to offer the right combination of hardware and software features at a price that won't break the bank.

Sony's NXT line has been taken to like Marmite thanks to the uniform look and feel across its range. Consisting of the Sony Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U all offer a trademark combination of bold corners, curvaceous backing and transparent banding around the base.
Pros:
- Sharp screen
- Fast processor
- Solid camera

THINK AND BUY
Xperia U is a good phone but not a gr8 device when we compared with other xperia devices coming with these price range.. Pros: 1. Sharp display, 480x854 px (good clear screen) 2. Responsive touch screen 3. High resolution camera 5MP with flash and has a front camera 4.

Utilitarian and Unique, not Elite
Camera, is not my friend. Though I'm typically not good with cameras. I don't like the dedicated camera button, it seems to take lesser pictures compared with the on screen option.
Pros:
- Individual Design - modern and flat sided, its not the typical oversized flattened out almost oval
- Plus, you can stand it up vertically or horizontally, a feature I never thought about before owning
Cons:
- RAM
- could use more of it..

Sony Xperia U on O2
Good phone, fits nicely in pockets etc without being TOO small. Bright visuals on 3.5 inch screen. Good camera features including 3D sweep panarama, 5 mp with flash. Light display feature too at base that changes as music player operates, or while viewing pics etc.

The phone is quite chunky: it stands just 112mm tall and is 54mm wide, but looks a bit squat with its 12 mm girth. It weighs 110 grams and has a headphone jack on the top, and the lock/unlock button, volume controls and camera button dotted along its right hand side.
Pros:
- Android has a 1GHz dual core processor and it is fast
- The camera has a lot of options that are endlessly entertaining to experiment with like the 3D panorama mode.
Cons:
- It's made of plastic and there is no SD card slot
