Super Mario Odyssey: catchup review
Is this the best Mario game ever? That's the question some people seem to be asking and we're here to tell you definitively that our opinion is yes, yes it very much is. There will always be a case for Galaxy or 64 to be given that title, and some of us might even go so far as to say Sunshine (hey,...

"Magnificent"
What a game. Even after you've completed the story there's still so much to do afterwards and it isn't tedious at all: they're new and refreshing events! The only downside I have with the game is that my wife played it and now she won't give it back :) I miss my Switch.

A must have for Mario Fans and Nintendo Switch owners.
Super Mario Odyssey is a fun, action-packed open world adventure which is great for the whole family. I'd always be finding myself so filled with wonder and awe at how beautiful and detailed the worlds and environments are.

Kids love it
My review is pretty simple. I don't play it but I can't get my kids off it (pre-teens). Given that I'm taking wild shots at the star ratings based on their feedback and what I've noticed about it.

Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)
Super Mario Odyssey is one of those games that just quickly invites you in and lets you take in its full glory. Being the first true sequel to Super Mario 64 and Sunshine in nearly two decades, this game does little to not disappoint you.
Pros:
- Beautiful game
- tons of available moves
- lots of nostalgia
Cons:
- Some annoying Power Moons
- co-op isn't super great
- encourages motion controls too much

The King of platform games gets back to basics.
The story this time around is beyond absurd with a race of sentient hats, but we are talking about a plumber going after a giant turtle to save a princess here, so all bets are off. It's best to turn the brain off as what always matters in Mario is the gameplay.
