Good Product Good Price
The product is well price and does a good job (what its supposed to do). I've bought many TP-Link products and find their price to value excellent.
Pros:
- Easy To Set Up

fast
easy to hook up and works really well with my fiberoptic internet. Now able to connect a laptop, an iMac and a desktop pc to the internet. Plus, my 2 printers, a Verizon network extender, and my smart tv so I can watch on demand.

5 Port TP-Link TL-SG1005D - Just plug it in & it works.
It does exactly what I wanted...allows more than one 'PC' to access the internet [without the need/problems of a wireless connection] either sepatately or at the same time. Just plug in the Modem's cable and the PCs' cables [in any of the ethernet sockets] and it knows what's what and works fine.

Great Product
This switch delivers. It is speedy and servers my purpose very well. And you can not beat the price. I may just buy another, just in case the need arises.

TP-Link TL-SG1005D REVIEW
No brainer setup and excellent speed which improved the client connection speed to the router. Ran out of Ethernet ports on the router. Excellent product, excellent pick up service at Walmart.

I have a Home Theatre with several devices that have ethernet or WiFi: a smart TV, Home Theatre receiver, Blu ray player, and I also put the VoIP phone back there too. For a while I had tried to stream over Wifi but because my router is in the basement it was certainly not stagger free streaming.
Pros:
- Small, very reliable and durable, unassuming, and works perfectly
- Gigabit speed, has exactly the right number of ports for my use
Cons:
- None

Easy, inexpensive way to upgrade your home network to 1Gbit
The switch has one port for connecting up a level to a server, a router, a modem to the internet, or even another switch. Then it has 4 more ports for adding a subset of devices to your home ethernet that will communicate with each other at 1Gb.
