What can I say except: Basic Gigabit Switch
I've not used it extensively, but the general idea of these things is that "they make them cheap enough, so just buy another one when the last one dies for as 'cheap' as you can find it. This, is that. I had a 5-port switch running for some low priority server duty... Well, that died.

GREAT for the $$ TL-SG1005D Gigabit Switch
Great price for a very good quality switch. It gets the job done fast and efficient.

Just what I needed
Read great reviews on Amazon about this ethernet switch however it was cheaper here on Play. I have a NAS drive that was connected through a router to the PC but that had just a 100Mbps through put.

Decent value switch
It does what it says, which is a big plus in the budget range of networking equipment :) Additional pros: this is a compact and stylish looking device, so if you want to mount it in a visible location (e.g., your home office desk) you won't shudder every time you look at it. Perhaps a con: it's very, very light – which means the weight of cables can drag it about. If you want the base to lie flat, you'll probably need to employ ghetto hax like bluetooth. For me this is minor – it's mounted behind my office monitor – but cable management might need a little extra thought.

Not what's advertised
I bought this unit because it seemed small enough, good speed, and provided visual display for each port (lights). However, when I received it, the unit had only one (1) light for power in the front and all the port lights are missing (not present).
Pros:
- Easy to Install
- Easy to Use
Cons:
- Missing Port Lights
- Poor Design
