Amiibo to the Knee
Portable Skyrim; Runs well; Looks great on handheld
Some visual issues
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, or just Skyrim in short, is an incredibly popular game, both among the deeper gaming community and the outer general internet community. It has won several awards and is praised among gamers on a regular basis.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on Nintendo Switch and there are now about 16 different versions of the game available. I played it for about 90 hours on the PS3 and didn't even complete it. You can also get this title for Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, PC and even a new VR version for the PS4.
While first-party releases like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey have been the face of the Nintendo Switch thus far, it's things like Skyrim that might (paradoxically) represent its future.
Overall, Skyrim on Switch is as good as I hoped it would be. I still find new areas to explore and new secrets to discover. Being able to take this awesome title on the go truly showcases why the Nintendo Switch is king. Sadly, Skyrim is a 2011 game, and at times it really shows.
