Chariot Review

Light-hearted, twee and more than a slice of cutesy-pie, this casual physics-based platformer, designed with two-player local co-op in mind, is amusing and bemusing in equal measure.
Pros:
  • Satisfying
  • floaty physics
  • Easy on the eyes
  • Flying the flag for local multiplayer
Cons:
  • Joyless for the friendless
  • Shop is redundant
  • upgrades should be unlocked
  • not purchased
  • Tiresome to revisit levels

Defense Grid 2 review

The basis of any given tower defence game is the narrow premise of placing towers to defend against some encroaching... thing. Honestly, the rest is quite vague. I've seen some that are meant to emulate doodles on a desk, and the invaders are office supplies.

Funereal Platforming

Chariot is is a deceptive game. I'd almost call it a bait-and-switch, if the developers had actually ever claimed that it was fun for the whole family. Everything about Chariot 's presentation screams 'accessible co-op title you might want to use to introduce people to gaming '-the cartoonish art...
Pros:
  • Finally nailing that mid-air vault off a flying cart to collect a secret skull
Cons:
  • Slamming into the same wall over and over again in the terrible speed section

Technology is a dangerous beast. It can bring about debt with a simple click of a button, ruin somebody's life through social media leaks, and instate great fear though data control. How many times

  • San Francisco feels alive
  • versatile
  • and full of individuality
  • Story is interesting
  • Layered characters with interesting personalities
  • Hacking is so much fun
Cons:
  • Technical issues need addressing right away

Watch Dogs 2 review: Hacking hell its good

N.B: All of the seamless multiplayer modes for Watch Dogs 2 , where players dynamically appear in your game, are offline at present due to major performance issues. Ubisoft is actively working to fix the problems, but we currently don't have a date for these fixes.

Watch Dogs 2 review

Watch Dogs 2 completely washes away the bad taste of the first game. The characters are likeable and fun, and it’s a world full of brilliant distractions that you can’t stop yourself from taking part in. Although the plot does wrap up a little quickly towards the end, and the main villain flatters to deceive a little too much, the hacking makes you feel like a complete badass, and the only negatives are minor. Fingers crossed Ubisoft can get a patch out ASAP and sort out the performance issues - you can work around them right now, but it would be better if they were resolved with an update. Regardless, this is a superb open world game that, thanks to the hacking, breathes new life into a genre that was desperately in need of it. Buy the Watch Dogs 2 game here from Amazon
Pros:
  • Hacking feels amazing
  • The world is alive
  • Stealth is so rewarding
  • Feels so fresh to play
Cons:
  • Frame rate is inconsistent
  • Checkpoints can be unforgiving
  • Story wraps up a little quickly

Watch Dogs 2

Watch Dogs 2 was announced by Ubisoft all the way back at E3 this year, and once word of it had gotten out, there were mixed feelings. On the one hand, the concept of the series had always been good and this looked set to introduce a new approach to the world of hacking, however, there were also...

Watch Dogs 2 Review – Beyond My Wildest Expectations

The original Watch Dogs was seen as the poster child for the PS4 and Xbox One upon release. For many years until release, with each passing trailer, our hopes and dreams for the original sky-rocketed.
