It can be useful poking around in code for mobile apps. The site 9to5Google has done exactly this and found references to Pixel Stand, which is thought to be the wireless charger that complements Google Pixel 3.
The code shows that it's possible to receive personal assistance when the phone is charging in Pixel Stand. One plausible theory is that the 5.4-inch Google Pixel 3 serves as a Google Home speaker while it's charging. Thus, the owner could use voice commands that Pixel 3 interprets.
Leaked images of Pixel 3 by OnLeaks and MySmartPrice reveals a rear side made out of glass. Hence, the next generation Pixel phone is compatible for wireless charging. In addition, Google has been interested in this technology for a long time, and also implemented it in some of its phones four years ago.
Availability and launch
Pixel 2 as well as the original Pixel phone, launched on the fourth of October. One could, therefore, assume that Pixel 3 and the larger 6.2-inch Pixel 3 XL will launch on the same date. However, there have been plenty of image leaks lately, which might point to an earlier release. Pixel 3 comes in two configurations: 128 GB storage and 4 GB of RAM memory or 256 GB storage 6 GB RAM. Snapdragon 845 guarantees a speedy phone.Related stories
