Review: Apple iPad Pro 10.5 (2017)
If Tony Stark built tablets instead of mechanised suits of armour, I think he'd struggle to come up with something better. This is an iPad that's truly deserving of that "Pro" moniker.

Apple iPad Pro 10.5 Review
More than most tech companies out there, Apple is a manufacturer that really gets set in its ways: no doubt after a long period of careful consideration, Apple tends to decide, "this is how we're going to do things," and keeps on doing that same thing, over and over, for years and years.
Pros:
- Big
- beautiful screen (but not TOO big
- Bassy
- rich sound
- Day-long battery life
- Laptop-competitive performance
- Great camera for when you need it
Cons:
- With accessories
- starts getting expensive
- fast
- Even with split-screen
- iOS doesn't feel optimized for tablets
- Audio recording when shooting video doesn't sound great

Review: Apple iPad Pro (10.5-inch)
I've always assumed Apple would eventually run out of ways to improve the iPad. It long ago made the processor faster than anyone needs. You won't find a sharper, more accurate, more responsive screen on a tablet. The battery lasts days, plural. And really, what else matters?
Pros:
- More screen is always a good thing, and this one's both faster and more responsive
- Battery still lasts for days, processor still runs great
- iOS 11 turns the iPad into a real computer
Cons:
- $650 is a lot for an iPad, and that doesn't include the Pencil and keyboard
- Until the new software shows up, more screen doesn't change much

It's easy to leap to categorizing new products like Apple's iPad Pro 10.5 as either revolutionary or evolutionary. Do they break new, uncharted ground, or are they last year's flagship, polished and refined for another attempt?
Pros:
- ProMotion 120Hz display is astonishingly good
- Apple A10X Fusion processor is wicked-fast
- Solid battery life
- Ever-growing selection of pro-level apps

- Expensive

Apple extends its tablet lead, but iOS 11 might end up being a bigger deal

- Slightly larger size makes typing easier
- Powerful processor
Cons:
- iOS 10 not built for all this power

Look past the price and this is a stunning tablet that needs iOS 11 to really feel complete.
